The Cavalcada dels Traginers Balsareny the streets, at noon on Sunday, is the main event of the Festa. It allows us to move with the times in which the transport of all types of merchandise was carried in wagons or on horses
Gomphrena globosa, commonly known as globe amaranth, Ping Pong Lavender, bachelor's button, makhmali, and vadamalli, is an edible plant from the family Amaranthaceae. The round-shaped flower inflorescences are a visually dominant feature and cultivars have been propagated to exhibit shades of magenta, purple, red, orange, white, pink, and lilac. Within the flowerheads, the true flowers are small and inconspicuous. G. globosa is native to Central America including regions of Brazil, Panama, and Guatemala, but is now grown globally. As a tropical annual plant, G. globosa blooms continuously throughout summer and early fall. It is very heat tolerant and fairly drought resistant, but grows best in full sun and regular moisture. The plant fixes carbon through the C4 pathway. At maturity, the flowerheads are approximately 4 cm long and the plant grows up to 60cm in height. G. globosa is an outcrossing species that is pollinated by butterflies, bees, and other insects. Floral volatiles likely play a significant role in the reproductive success of the plant by promoting the attraction of pollinators. 20616

Our dinning room table has a glass top. Perfect for a round of cup pong, which turned out to be a fun activity during our Covid days at home. After the game, the pong balls and cups volunteered to model for this shot. ;-)

Small build for a DFW LUG seed part challenge. The seed part is the 3614a plate 1 x 1 round with tow ball in yellow, and the additional rules state "no more than 5 colors (not including the seed part)." I had much more elaborate plans for my build initially, but then I had this idea and decided to keep it simple.

Levin and Erika are doing their wedding the right way.
I spent a weekend up in Seattle shooting various images of the two for their invite, which was sent out in the form of an Xbox 360 game. One of the spreads of the instruction manual was 'special moves' - Erika's ping pong dive being one of them. And what better place to shoot it than the Penny Arcade offices.
