in our garden pond - Frankfurt-Nordend

Ducks swim at dusk at Tenny Park, Madison, Wisconsin.

There is just something about being out in open country, about seeing the sun rise over a pond, that's really beautiful.

Carson Wentz

Hidden in the forests of the Wiehengebirge and filled with emerald-green water this pond has a magic touch. We used the sunny Sunday for an extended hiking trip in the area. The place is connected with many stories, the old folks still talk about a nazi-treasure being sunk in the waters in the dying stages of WWII.

This northern pintail duck flying on a golden pond reflecting the tree colours, I took it yesterday the only sunny day in next on week.這隻針尾鴨正飛躍一個金色的池塘,這是昨天拍的,也是這些天來唯一的晴天

A different pond than the one the two drakes were fighting. This one is in Bad Mergentheim. :-)

This is a re-edit of one of my previous shots.

Beautiful as ever @Burton Mere.

Here's another photo from my old files. My Dad, who passed away in June at the age of 94, was visiting us on the Big Island several years ago and was standing right next to me when I took this, so this has very special meaning.

Sorry, I understand you could not see the pre-crop image (even though I could) so I hope you can now.

Yes, there is a pond - it's just not open water.

The stone lantern to the lower left is called a tōrō (exactly what sub-type it is, there are plenty of them, I can't say though).

In the Japanese garden at the Nezu museum - a garden filled with old statues and sculptures, tea-houses and a pond.

Autumn moments from Kadriorg

Seen on another return visit to the Japanese Garden at Mt. Coot-tha. Just a small part of this beautiful place.
