questo lavoro, l'ho realizzato da una fotografia in una raccolta di immagini utili ad ispirare disegni monocromatici, a colori o altre tecniche pittoriche. Io ho scelto le matite colorate Faber Castell Polycromos, morbide a base di olio. La carta è ad alta grammatura liscia della Favini. Vi ringrazio anticipatamente per tutti gli eventuali gradimenti.

this work, I made it from a photograph in a collection of images useful to inspire monochrome, color or other painting techniques. I chose Faber Castell Polycromos colored pencils, soft oil-based. The paper is of high smooth weight by Favini. I thank you in advance for any compliments.

Anche questo mio lavoro è ispirato al maestro di pittura marina Frederick Judd Waught, artista statunitense che ha dedicato quasi tutta la sua carriera a disegnare e dipingere marine. Fu anche l'ideatore delle mimetiche Dazzle utilizzate dalla marina americana. Questo disegno è stato realizzato su carta liscia ad alta grammatura (220gr/mq) con matite colorate Faber Castell Polycromos. Grazie per tutti gli eventuali gradimenti!
This work of mine is also inspired by the master of marine painting Frederick Judd Waught, an American artist who has dedicated almost his entire career to drawing and painting marine. He was also the creator of the Dazzle camouflage used by the US Navy. This drawing was made on smooth high-weight paper (220gr / sqm) with Faber Castell Polycromos colored pencils. Faber Castel Polycromos Pencils and Prismacolor Pencils on Fabriano Artistico Watercolor Paper
Questo lavoro è stato realizzato da un'immagine di un paesaggio dell'Arizona ricavata da una fotografia . Le linee principali le ho disegnate con una matita in grafite HB, ho poi colorato l'insieme con diversi passaggi di colore dal più chiaro al più scuro a seconda della tipologia di terreno, rocce ed arbusti, tenendo conto della luce e delle ombre. Ho utilizzato matite colorate professionali Polycromos della Faber Castell, carta di alta qualità e grammatura bianca liscia, Favini 220 gr/mq. Grazie per tutti gli eventuali commenti e gradimenti!
This work was made from an image of an Arizona landscape taken from a photograph. I drew the main lines with an HB graphite pencil, then I colored the whole with different color passages from the lightest to the darkest depending on the type of soil, rocks and shrubs, taking into account the light and shadows. I used Faber Castell Polycromos professional colored pencils, high quality paper and smooth white weight, Favini 220 gr / sqm. Thanks for any comments and likes!

Snakes are lovely creatures if you can get past your initial repulsion. I never realized how perfectly aligned their scales are. I hope I did this little guy justice. I wish I had given it more time this month. Too many distractions vying for my attention!

Prismacolor, Faber Castel Polycromos, and Albrect Durer Watercolor Pencils on Smooth Bristol
If any of you wonder how colored pencil works on a smooth Bristol, I would not recommend it. I had to fight with it the whole time. It might have helped with the face, but the rest of the image was difficult. I was hoping I would be able to scratch out the highlights on the hair, but that didn't work. Maybe I needed the Bristol Plate finish to do that. Will not use it again for colored pencil. Just not enough texture.
