These horses were pulling a carriage for a wedding ceremony, waiting patiently at the hotel door. I'd never seen horses with "hoof" polish before!
This is the top section of the same icicle bunch from my "Foiled" image (link: flic.kr/p/r3X5cy) taken the next day. As they continued to melt, they lost the tinfoil look and started to take on the appearance of a polished stone.
I figured a sunset image is fitting for Sunday; a sunset closes the day...Sunday closes the weekend...and they both have the word "sun" ;-)

I got this egg from a Polish friend, whose grandmother had painted it. On one side you can see this bird, and on the other side a lovely heart. I've had the egg for many years.
My collection of rocks and minerals includes this serpentine beauty. Highly polished it shows the details contained within the rock.

The Archer statue is a sculpture set in the park of Jan Kochanowski, opposite the Polish Theater.
It is one of oldest preserved sculptures in the city, also considered one of the most valuable and beautiful. It is one of the most distinctive symbols of Bydgoszcz. Four copies of this statue are in different cities of Germany.
The statue is made of bronze and its author is a Berlin artist prof. Ferdinand Lepcke.

Łuczniczka jest rzeźbą ustawioną w parku Jana Kochanowskiego, naprzeciw Teatru Polskiego.
Jest jedną z najstarszych zachowanych rzeźb w mieście, uznawaną także za jedną z najcenniejszych i najpiękniejszych. Należy do najbardziej wyrazistych symboli Bydgoszczy. Cztery kopie tego posągu znajdują się w różnych miastach Niemiec.
Posąg jest wykonany z brązu a jego autorem jest berliński artysta prof. Ferdinand Lepcke.
