"Testament" apparently offends people by suggesting that the Virgin Mary would question her son's divinity. Instead of protesting a play about the thoughts of long-dead (and possibly fictional) people I might have spent time protesting the crushing homelessness issue that manifests nightly across the street. Better yet, spend some time helping some of those (very real) people. But that's just me.
influenza, cbk, rotterdam, 2006
great work by influenza, one of his oneliners starting from the inside of the exhibition and crossing the whole fassade of the gallery from the outside.

Have you absorbed the notion that airports are not my favourite places?
Not to denigrate the World War II horrors associated with Changi I found myself on a flight today which got there early!!
Oh no, more time in Changi Airport than that for which I had hardened myself. It was from here that I ended up in London, not Helsinki. It was here where I was held up by a few people from Denpasar too late for their connection. I waited instead for them; wasted time and misery in Changi.
My flight landed in an entirely different Terminal than the one planned. This airport, like a chaotic city itself is no fun to navigate and a horrid mismatch of the wonder of Asia and the worst of Europe.
As if to make the point, here are the tired and huddled masses rushing from one retail opportunity to another when really they just need to be somewhere else. I've seen it — this goes on all night. Well, almost all night. Most of the pointless shops close about 2 AM. I'm sure you can work out how I know this.
There's also a reason why I'm in a transit hotel and you can't see the view. To save me the repeat of the trauma of yesterday's view of the carpark, today I'm in a room totally devoid of windows. It's like being back at work for those who remember the various dungeons I once called workplaces.
Is this the most pointless remote control ever? Why would a radio alarm clock that sits right next to you on the bedside cabinet need a remote control? I still use it though :o)
Taken with Nikon D600.
Note dying trees, new twenty million dollar surface, six mile length (connecting nothing to nowhere), and beautiful blonde grass.
Morning... pointless. I had to park in the field house lot.... dumb.
Afternoon progressively better. Tristen yelled my name on my way to 6th so I went to wave and elbowed a girl in the face. I still feel pretty terrible about that. My teachers dog is named Tristan. She also believes she will die when she turns 54. I am glad I don't have that feeling. I didn't want to fall asleep last night because I felt so good and knew the moment I closed my eyes my throat would swell up again. And it did. Eh whatever, this steroid is where it's at. I was really looking forward to grocery shopping but I didn't get to go. So I cleaned. Then I went to get coffee and took Nevin a hot chocolate. I don't know where my evening went to. Because I don't remember it. This is my world wall. I asked for a framed map for Christmas.. and a periodic table.
Sam is officially in Texas!!!!! FINALLY!
