At least most people slow down.

This was shot through my screen door, if you're wondering why it looks so funny. Didn't want to be too obvious about filming people.

This is one of those pointless videos you get on flickr : / I mostly added it because I wanted something up that was taken with my new camera haha.

Shiroi Koibito Park is a kind of theme park by Ishiya, a local chocolate company. The company's flagship product are the Shiroi Koibito cookies, two thin butter cookies with white chocolate in between, a mandatory item on the souvenir shopping list of most visitors to Hokkaido.

The park consists of various Disneyland style buildings housing shops, a cafe and, most interestingly, a chocolate factory, which is open to the public. Besides some windows, from behind which visitors can observe the production process of the chocolate cookies, there are many chocolate related exhibits.

Part of Shiroi Koibito Park is a soccer field, the practice ground for "Consadole Sapporo", the local J-League soccer team. There is also a small collection house about the team's history. - web

A photograph of one of those pointless "living statues" that - for reasons unknown - people feel compelled to throw money at.

Taken with Minolta MD Macro Zoom 35-70mm f3.5 on Panasonic G1.

The woman featured in the previous photo. Here she is breaking up some of the rocks that she has carried.

The man behind the fest when he still had dreads...

Scan off contact sheet. Portrait from Pointless Fest 2004 in Philly.

Taking this photo had no purpose other than to see how much I could crop it, before it pixelated. I often use a Sigma 17-70mm lens on a Canon 60D. Although somewhat heavy at that, it seems to be a reasonably compatible combination. I have some other lenses, but have to say that I do like Sigma lenses and seem to default back to this one as a general carry around lens.

Seemed like a great thing at first - a solar-powered table lamp. If the solar panel on the base is exposed to a bright light, like the sun, the lamp lights up. Yeah! But it doesn't seem to have the ability to store that power for later, so it only works in bright light. So . . . er. . . why would you need a bright table lamp if there's already a bright light, like the sun?

Tenuous link: point --> pointless

I used this for my art portfolio for art class. My art teacher flipped over this piece.

Welsh flag on a pointless wall

I built the drystone wall on a boulder. The flag was added in Photoshop from a digital image just to see if I could!

...except for planning where to go in (sometime 2021) or beyond. If they are still in business that is.

the spirit week pep rally was awesome!

i took the SAT's this morning and i survived!

i skipped a lot of algebra questions though. that subject is written in another language...

#147: i am unbelievably picky about my bangs. if they don't fall into place the way i like them to, i refuse to leave my house. i especially dislike when there is a huge gap...

Strangers. Caught unawares doing, er, absolutely nothing. In a fairly uninteresting setting. Under harsh light.

God, I love photography...
