This is now the last photo of the "Spielberg F1"-Series. The podium changed into gold! The goal of every driver to come there...

Going to check on Mrs nesting Swan, it was a while before I noticed a duck family in the shadows. The first shots meant whacking up the ISO to 800. Then I moved so they'd come into view in the sun. It transformed the scene from a very green one, and the stump where a turtle suns itself became a Duck Podium.
None of my shots produced all the ducks in focus. As they were preening their eyes were often averted or shut... Still, it was wonderful to see parent ducks with their young, in the lake where years ago, I always saw the first ducklings and cootlings. And ducks always perched on watery branches, and skimmed the lake.
There are three ducklings. The others were swimming close by when I photographed from this angle.

Twee en een half jaar later zien we eind maart het nieuwe materieel van U-OV, in de vorm van CAF lagevloerstel 6066 op hetzelfde punt aan de Podiumweg in IJsselstein.

Dat "toen" en "nu" soms heel dicht bijeen kunnen liggen bewijzen deze twee foto's: op de laatste dag van augustus 2018 passeren langs de Podiumweg in IJsselstein SIG stellen 3027 en-22 de molen Windotter (1732) en de St.Nicolaasbasiliek (1885/87) .
Enige honderden meters verder ligt het eindpunt IJsselstein Zuid.

This is me during our visit to Arrowhead Stadium. This is the podium used for media interviews and press conferences after a game. I felt a lot of pressure even pretending to be behind the microphone.
