Hamnøy oder Hamnøya ist ein kleines Fischerdorf in der Gemeinde Moskenes in der Provinz Nordland, Norwegen. Es liegt auf der Ostseite der Insel Moskenesøya, etwa 1,5 Kilometer nordöstlich des Dorfes Reine, am Vestfjorden.
Hamnøy war früher über eine Fähre mit Reine verbunden, die jedoch im Rahmen der Lofoten-Festlandverbindung durch Brücken über die Europastraße E10 ersetzt wurde.
Rorbu (plur. Rorbuer) ist die norwegische Bezeichnung für eine nur saisonal genutzte Fischerhütte. Das Wort Rorbu setzt sich aus den Wörtern „Ro“ (Rudern) und „bu“ (Wohnen) zusammen. Die Hütten wurden insbesondere in der Provinz Nordland errichtet und erlaubten das Abfischen von Fischbeständen in Gegenden, in denen ein ganzjähriges Überleben nur mit größter Mühe möglich gewesen wäre, etwa bei der Dorschfischerei.

Le sabot, nommé klomp (plur. : klompen) par les néerlandais, autrefois populaire et porté quotidiennement, est devenu un symbole des Pays-Bas vendu dans les magasins de souvenirs1.
Les sabots sont réalisés avec du bois de saule ou de peuplier.
En 2017, il ne restait aux Pays-Bas qu'une trentaine de fabricants (dont 15 faisant du travail de qualité, selon Jack van der Voort, le président d'une association de défense des sabots) pour une production de 300 000 sabots par an2, contre 9 millions dans les années 1950.
Selon une étude menée en 1997, la plupart des sabots en bois sont conformes aux normes néerlandaises et européennes des chaussures de sécurité3. Ils restent portés par un petit nombre de gens, comme les agriculteurs ou les festivaliers qui ne veulent pas se faire marcher sur les pieds dans les concerts. Lors des mesures prises contre la pandémie de Covid-19, la circulation à sens unique a pu mettre à mal les porteurs de sabots, qui avaient l'habitude de laisser leurs sabots à l'entrée4
Si les sabots traditionnels sont en baisse de production, différents types de chaussures s'en inspirent encore, qui elles sont plutôt à la mode5 et qui n'ont jamais cessé d'inspirer des créateurs comme Viktor & Rolf6, Swedish Hasbeens, Crocs, Miista, Caroline Biss, Net à porter, Aigle, Zalando, Birkenstock, Uggs7.
On trouve des sabots jusque dans le musée Staline de Gori, en Géorgie, cadeau du CPN (Communistische Partij Nederland )8
Zaanse Schans abrite un atelier de fabrication de sabots.

One of the main streets in Ostia Antica.
Having visited Ostia about 18 years ago we were keen to return with our kids when we visited Rome back in the Summer of 2019.
We weren't disappointed and considering we visited on a Friday in July we were pleasantly surprised to have the large site almost to our selves for a while having arrived at opening time.
