Grand merci à Germain Lachance ainsi qu'à Daniel Dupont qui m'ont aidé à identifier l'oiseau. J'ai fait erreur en l'identifiant comme un Bécasseau à poitrine cendrée alors qu'il s'agit d'un Bécasseau minuscule. Voici ce que Daniel m'a écrit pour le reconnaître:

"Il a encore de ses plumes d'été et son bec est fin et noir contrairement à la poitrine cendré qui as un bec un peu plus jaunâtre et les rayures descendent plus bas sur la poitrine et atteignent un peu le ventre"

Germain me dit que le cou devrait être plus long et les raies de la poitrine devraient descendre plus bas et couper net! Il devrait avoir un peu de jaune à la base du bec.

Bref, ils ne sont pas toujours facile à différencier ces limicoles.

Plum trees are in abundance in our Niagara Region. From my archives.

Post processed in 2 Li’l Owls Light Up # 43 texture and Luminar Neo filters.

These are the only plum flowers that were fully blossoming at Kaiakuen Garden in early February. The website says ten percent of the plums on the three-hundred hectare premise were blossoming but that wasn't true. Kairakuen Garden is one of the three renowned Japanese Gardens, along with Kourakuen Garden and Kenrokuen Garden. The silhouette in the background is Kobun-tei House, a traditional Japanese-style house built on the premise. It offers a house tour.

偕楽園の梅の花(水戸市)

雲一つない快晴の碧空バックに陽光を浴びた白梅が輝いてました。「桜切る馬鹿、梅切らぬ間抜け」と言われますが、この樹は剪定が行き届いて花付きが良い梅なんですが、その代わり小枝が多くて多くて💦・・超苦手な撮影対象の一つです💦
