I have to admit............ I'm a paper-addict. As long as I can remember I have to feel paper, to smell paper, perhaps in my early childhood have been eaten it ;-)
And since I discovered origami, it got even worse........ I never seem to have the right paper for the model I'm folding ;-)
This is just a SOOC of paper-foil.
For the Macro Mondays theme: Guilty Pleasure.

Macro Monday - guilty pleasures
I have many :) , but these are my favorites- NewZealand white wines and fresh flowers
We took a nice little tour today North, behind the hills of the Wiehengebirge to visit some windmills. One of my favorites is the mill of Eickhorst ,Ostwestfalen, Germany
I love tulips, even when they are broken.
Can't wait every year to buy the first ones...
Thank you for comments and favs!

The Pleasure House Folly was originally built as a 2 storey lookout house to keep watch for pirates and smugglers at the nearby quay in North Devon
Towards the end of the 18th century, it was converted into a folly as part of a broader grand architectural landscape re-design
This was shot by me on 22 Jan, 2017, when I was 13.
My family, three of us went for travel in Mt Wuyi, Fujian.
The original photo is JPG format cuz I don't know how to shoot RAW files at that time...
I used Topaz JPEG to RAW to give me the chance adjusting it.
The result is fantastic when I combine Topaz with Photoshop!
"That pleasure which is at once the most pure,
the most elevating and the most intense,
is derived, I maintain, from the contemplation of the beautiful."
Quote - Edgar Allan Poe
happy weekend dear friends!
The real things haven't changed.
It is still best to be honest and truthful,
to make the most of what we have,
to be happy with simple pleasures,
and have courage when things go wrong.
- Laura Ingalls Wilder

Dreamt of you last night
Woke up
You weren’t there
Five nights in a row
Of dreams
I’d never share
You come without a warning
Early in the morning
Timing’s never been our thing
Leaving me with guilt
The only souvenir you bring
I’m with him and you’re a secret treasure
He’s devotion, you’re a guilty pleasure
I’m with him and this is real life, honey
Guess the joke’s no longer funny
I’m with him until the death do us part
But it doesn’t do for this hungry heart
I’m with him, but in my frantic head
You always come and say
Would you run away
Would you run away with me
Would you run away
Would you run away
One love is enough
That’s all you ever get
Least that’s what they tell you
Still, i can’t forget
Eyes like burning ashes
Till the sunlight flashes
Can’t recall what i’ve been taught
Captivated by the thunderstorm
In which i’m caught
I’m with him and you’re a secret treasure
He’s devotion, you’re a guilty pleasure
I’m with him and this is real life, honey
Guess the joke’s no longer funny
I’m with him until the death do us part
But it doesn’t do for this hungry heart
I’m with him, but in my frantic head
You always come and say
Would you run away
Would you run away with me
For Macro Mondays'theme of the week.
I feel a bit guilty when I spend so much time looking through my lenses, playing with gadgets like this glass ball on the photo and spending another great amount of time in front of my computer, processing or looking at my contacts photos. But a pleasure it is, that's for sure.
It comes in many forms and mine was gained from a long awaited visit to my local beach at Steetley tonight.
I say pleasure because having not been out for months now, it was joy to have a camera in front of me again.
It was an incoming high tide and although there wasn't much colour in the sky, due to the abundance of cloud, I managed to capture some nice water movement around the wooden remains.
Pain and Pleasure are certainly words to live by. Some believe both are forms of art. The art of pain being a way to push one to their limits without breaking them. The art of pleasure being the same. For many Pain is even Pleasure. So why not celebrate both... separate or together with these neon lights by BackBone. Both Pain and Pleasure come in red, blue, pink, purple, and even a special tintable version. So stop in at BackBone and see what fun things they have to spice up your home.
