today I'm playing inside :-)
....It was fascination
I know
Seeing you alone
...With the moonlight above
Then I touch your hand
And next moment
...................I kiss you
Fascination turned to love
Draussen schlechtes Wetter.... also zuhause ein bisschen herumgekramt was es denn so für Motive gibt und beim Blick ins Gemüsefach kam die Idee. :-))
Bad weather outside.... so at home I rummaged around a bit to see what kind of motifs there are and when I looked in the vegetable compartment, the idea came up. :-))

A creation of mine for Sliders Sunday starting off with a photograph I took within terminal 4 of Madrid Barajas Airport.
Happy Sliders Sunday!
I guess deep within myself I was wishing for being just on my own there and voila when I looked again they started fading ... ;) :D
Happy Sliders Sunday everyone!
"You promised that I could ride the frog, but he won't stay still".
Sorry my friend.... what can I tell you.
Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday
This is what happens when I'm stuck at home - I have to find new ways of photographing. I actually don't like photos of myself, so I thought I would try doing an in camera double exposure and then adding a painterly texture so that it's more symbolic than realistic. I know it looks very strange, but it's all in the name of art :)
I have another self portrait that I will post at another date.
Oh, and by the way, I'm doing fine being at home - it's good practice just living in the moment and taking one day at a time. And I expect to do a lot of experimenting :)

For today's Sunday Slider I chose to mash up several of my urban tunnels and gates images through multiple mirroring and layering to create the illusion of a kind of artiifical network of neuronal connections, Artificial Intelligence being the subject of high impact and strong opinions at the moment being.
Happy Sliders Sunday!
Being the SciFi Buff I am I have chosen another SciFi subject for this Sunday's Slide: The SciFi classic Phase IV by Saul Bass. If you don't know it let me inspire you to watch it :)
Happy Sliders Sunday!!
I want to surprise them.
I don't know how being in the cupboard is going to surprise anyone. They were literally all over the kitchen one day so out came the camera and click, click.
Maybe he is going to surprise Laura on her Birthday
Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday
An amaryllis in bud ... one of the many shots I've taken with the new macro lens. The background is courtesy of a pair of black pants. There's nothing like a bit of improvisation.
My poor dog, Lytton, gets a resigned look whenever I pull out the camera and begin reorganising the living room to get the light I want. I imagine he is thinking, "Here she goes again".
A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.

If I told you what this was, you wouldn't believe me; so I'll tell you. It is a cropped, intentional camera movement shot of a parked motorcycle! When I ran it through my own Lightroom presets, these silhouettes appeared. I only had to add eyes to get the conversation going. Hey, a girl's gotta have fun!
Maybe, just a little "scary" abstract!!

Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... Thanks to you all!
So excited. Last night I ordered a 50mm lens. Finally. 1.8 though, can't afford anymore. Still so excited.
Processed using my own actions and textures. :)
After getting up before 5am two days in a row to photograph the river and the rocks it's definitely allowed to play around in the woods.
Although I almost got stabbed by my tripod's centre column....

This is a continuation from my previous post. Same day. Same aspen grove along the June Lake Loop. Here, I'm having fun trying to create some abstracts of this aspen grove by intentionally moving my camera while I release the shutter. These are fun to do. Not all are successful. Some are quite interesting. I really like the "mystery of the forest" conveyed in this one. What do you think?

Can you post one of those ONES tomorrow, please?

EXPLORE # 415 on Monday, June 23, 2008
Trying my hand at something different, this turned out better (?) than I thought it would. Can you guess what it is....lol? This is actually frost on the front of my windshield that was on there the other day after work. As I sat there waiting for my jeep to warm up, I snapped this because at first the light was coming through it pretty good. As I played with the processing, it looked like angels in flight with a bit of stars and clouds,so there you have it. Processing can be such fun!
I really like playing around like this and so I have quite a collection by now of pictures with bokeh bubbles
I saw someone on Explore who had used the Redfield plugin, Fractalius, on a tiger shot, and thought it might work for some of my underwater shots. I'm usually not too much a fan of these types of effects, but after trying it out, I have three to four shots that look kinda cool. Happy 2009 Everyone!
Oh yeah, the original is here. It actually made it to Explore back on the original upload date of July 11, 2006. It resides at a lowly #421, but hey, it's there! :)
The First in a Series of what I will call "Fractalius Fridays" leading up to Valentine's Day (which I know is on a Saturday this year, but whatever).
Everybody talks about wanting to change things and help and fix, but ultimately all you can do is fix yourself. And that's a lot. Because if you can fix yourself, it has a ripple effect.

But until he shows, we can dream we're some inches closer, right? :-) Tell Daniel at least! He seems quite happy here (and yes, the guy holding his hand up was a TOTAL stranger). I know... I'm a bit mean sometimes. Hahaha!

We look at photo's just about the whole time we are on flickr yet we hardly see who's behind the shot. Would we not like the pictures as much if we knew them or would we like them even more? Would it even make a difference???? Is what they saw what we see is what they shot how we would have shot it?
