Macro Mondays theme Anachronism

Does anyone remember playing with these in the street or in the playground? My grown up kids (24 & 27) have no idea what they are!

This is my interpretation of an anachronism. I have no idea if it is or if it isn't but I'm going with it as everything else failed!

Width of frame is around 4cm.

Playground Lights show what kids do the world. With their lightheartedness can light up the darkness in the reality. They can distrcat us grown-ups from the struggles we have to face every day.

Our local elementary school has been closed for several years due to school restructuring. The blacktop on the old playground has been slowly breaking apart due to the work of rain, sun and time.

Images stenciled on the asphalt that originally encouraged children to walk, run, slide and jump now seem to tell a different story. This image reminds me that if we DON'T exercise our bodies, we will break apart.

Another orb out in Hobgoblins playground. This is the last lightpainting from the meetup. It was the best time. Thanks Sergey for making it happen. Thanks everyone else for being awesome.

A shot of the old school in unincorporated town of Mitchell,KS. around 2012.The school was closed around 1970,the abandoned church across the road a few years later. The town's post office closed in 1953....
