Hello there. Relevant comments welcome but please do NOT post any link(s).
One of the bad things about being at home is the temptation to over indulge in the food area, especially when it has been too hot to walk except in the early morning and evening.
So this is the delectable platter of grapes, fruit cheese and home-made cheese bread. I need more practice with the bread making but it all goes down well. For the Definitely Dreaming week 4 theme of Food!. Using my lensbaby!

We could have invited a fifth person....
In the highly recommendable Greek restaurant Odysseus in Penzing, the 14th district of Vienna.
You see here (from right to left) my wife Lihua and dear visitors, namely my stepdaughter Xixi, whom I have known for a very long time and who is like a real daughter to me, and my step-granddaughter Puding, whom I have just become acquainted with.
She is just great! How smart she is became clear to me when, after a short settling-in period, she started to understand my strange Chinese and joined in our table conversations, for example.
At a certain point in these table conversations, I even had the feeling that she was the only one at the table who understood what I meant, namely when I described my impression of the difference between Mandarin and the Kunming dialect, which her mother speaks with her grandmother but which she herself only understands: Mandarin moves along in waves for me, the Kunming dialect in zigzags. She repeated my comment in an understanding smiling way that I enjoyed very much.
