Art installation of bird cages at Angel Place, Sydney
Love this place, one of my favourites.
Here is a place where I am always to relax.
As I captured several moments here, this image I decided to do in infrared. The moment was captured at noon because the heat was intense.

On the same day, after I had photographed the pink sky ( previous photo ), I turned to go home and noticed this landscape behind my back. The blue moment quickly descended over the trees and snow, it also wrapped itself around me like a considerate lover. I wanted to capture this moment too. I also love the color blue, turquoise and green. It was an incredible feeling, I had just looked at the pink sky and now there was this in front of me. Swamp, trees and a clean snowy landscape, just a few steps in the snow. Probably a big dog or deer, I've seen foxes and moose here too. A bear and a few wolves have also been seen here, they do not belong to this nature but had wandered here from further away. This place is only a 15 minute walk from my home.

A hard disk find. The place where this was taken does not exist anymore, it fell victim to urban redevelopment.
As of 2019 the Shanghai No. 10 Steel Factory (上海第十钢铁厂) art museum, located smack in the center of Shanghai was simply gone. In 2005 the place had opened as an art museum with outdoor and indoor exhibits. A bit of history below:
The Shanghai No. 10 Steel Factory (上海第十钢铁厂) was founded in 1956 and featured around 30 small steel workshops.
The conversion to an indoor and outdoor art museum took place in 2005. A variety of art galleries existed and the entire place was known by various names, such as "Red City" (红坊) after the brick buildings, or "Shanghai Sculpture Space" (上海城市雕塑艺术中心). Nowadays the location it occupied is covered by modern office buildings.

This was not a planned shot. I saw him flying by, and just panned and took a few shots. This was the best. My settings were not optimal for this sort of capture, but all things considered, I liked it!

Place-Royale
A visit to Place-Royale is like a step back in time to the early days of New France. It was here that Samuel de Champlain founded his “abitation” in 1608.

Taken from the place we stayed at a few weeks back called Misty Cliff.
Misty Cliffs is a little village that lies on the mountain and on the beach, divided only by Main Road, between Kommetjie and Scarborough, roughly an hour from Cape Town.
It acquired its name for its, rather obviously, misty cliffs - it overlooks the wild and tempestuous sea, and is renowned not only for incredible days and beautiful beaches, but also for windy and wet days, depending on the season. It was something of a magical little hamlet that is also a conservation village bordering on a nature reserve, a wonderful place to find peace and quiet and a spectacular setting at the best of times.
