This had to be THE MOST AMAZING WEDDING site that I have ever delivered to. Beautiful colors, shades of purples, blues, and greens. Peacock feathers, amazing floral centerpieces, beautiful white chairs each with a wrap and feather on the back. Even the menus were individually printed (and jewelled!) and served as placecards at the tables, chandeliers with fresh orchids hanging from them, what else? There were so many amazing details. Oh, and a custom printed dance floor with their monogram on it. BEA-U-TI-FUL!
design inspired by their wedding invitations (the branch and leaves). The birds were a recurring theme on their placecards and centerpieces. I've been waiting to do a fantastic cake with birds (a seemingly hot new theme that I LOVE) and Andrea gave me a great opportunity. I also love that she chose the design that had the birds on the side of the cake instead of as a traditional topper. I used a grouping of leaves as the topper.
I wonder how many (if any) people know about the old-fashioned "calling cards" . . . hard to believe, at one time in my life, many years ago, I had a box of them . . . and even more astonishing, is that I still have a few left! Thus, my signature contains my maiden name!

The Blue Witch was a famous racer at some point, so famous that she was immortalized as a little placecard holder. She certainly has Bunny's attention today. I hope that doesn't mean she's expecting to have her own line of merchandise!

Placecard cookies made for my Sister in-law's Parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary. As with everything metallic -- the gold was so much nicer than in the photo. It was a Winter/Christmas Anniversary so I went with the snowflakes and tried to keep it simple (what my sister-in-law requested).
right before i left on vacation i shipped a large wedding order to the most fabulous bride, alex! she was an absolute pleasure to work with!

I have been having fun coming up with different uses for it. It is a scalloped oval with a heart protruding from the oval, but this time I turned the heart into lips for a fun Valentine message!
The decor for this wedding was beautiful, wonderfully romantic with a vintage twist. I loved the birdcages filled with flowers from Bo K www.flowersworthing.co.uk/bok/home.htm.

I had lunch with my son and his family yesterday. One of my grand-daughters had made place cards for us. Inside she had written some of our common expressions – she was just right with me. The paper is white with gold writing but the shadow has made it look orange.
