Long-tailed weasel games - when push comes to shove. The young weasels were a delight to watch when they were in their young growing-up phase, when life was just a game. Not too long after we found them, they began to spread out and work on their hunting skills.
The most recent hobby that I started in 2022 is quilting. I quickly learned that "we quilters" like are gadgets and this is one that my daughter bought me from a small quilt shop. We like to support small businesses, now more so than ever since they continue to struggle and more and more are having to close their doors for good. I heard this morning that they have now come to the point where they must raise their prices to keep afloat due to the higher cost of staying in business, like heating, their cost of merchandise or ingredients to make products, etc.,
This is a new PIN holder. It is a tiny (1.5" tall, 2.5" wide) cup with an extremely strong magnet at the bottom. What makes this special is that you can drop the pins from 5-10" overhead and they land sticking straight up in the cup. So what, you say. Yes, I heard you! Well, when you go to retrieve a pin, all the pins are sticking straight up, if you turn the caddy over or if it gets bumped, the pins stay inside and do not spill out. It is difficult to explain why this works so well, so I think I shall stop before I bore you anymore. But the darn thing really works great.
I went shopping yesterday for a new pair of trousers, but didn't find anything nice. So perhaps the sewing machine may have to come out again. These pins my come in handy. HMM:)

The Second Pinal County Courthouse - built in 1891 and located in 135 Pinal St. The Courthouse is the most important architectural landmark in Florence and the most outstanding surviving example of the American-Victorian Style in Central Arizona. The building was designed by Arizona architect James M. Creighton, who was among the Territory’s first architects. Three notorious women were presented before this court. They were Pearl Heart, Eva Dugan and Winnie Ruth Judd. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places on August 2, 1978.

For this week’s challenge "pin" I went searching for some pins and found some gold sewing pins a straight pin with pearl head and a safety pin. Then I needed a way to display them and came up with a toy which has a magnet base and metal blocks, I then tossed some of the gold pins on to see what would happen. The height and width are 2 1/2".
