37 images focus stacked with PS. Used manual Samyang 85mm f/1.4. More of a portrait lens, but I wondered if it would be good for macro and I find I am getting excellent results with tubes/bellows.

Many moons ago when I lived in Welkom, Orange Free state, they used to have the Hotrod-races. Pink cars were very unusual then, maybe still is. The other day while browsing through a site from "way back when!!" I came across these photographs and just had to share them!!

Pink Coneflower giving up her seeds.

These hot pink flowers are a recent addition to our flower garden. They are on their second blooming of this season, so I'm delighted to know they hadn't said goodbye just yet. Even as their flowers fade, they seem to be a convenient stop for all sorts of flying insects

Chilean Flamingo resting in the sunshine. Taken at the Calgary Zoo. Would love to see one in the wild - but in the interim the zoo provides a nice safe spot to walk around and practice with the camera in January.

Pink pills for Rosie our cat, she has a thyroid problem and needs two of these a day to keep her well. She watches for me going to the dispenser and sometimes makes a dash under the table to get out of the way.
