I sat with this Northern Parula on three outings this season. He gave several close poses similar to this. I never posted any so I thought now would be the best time since I'm indoors due to the fires.

Pilates called his method "Contrology". It is practiced worldwide, especially in Western countries such as Australia, Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.

The theraband teaches how much the limbs have to be active for the Pilates roll down.
1. Sit with legs extended. Place theraband around the back and hold the theraband with the hands. Bend knees if hamstrings are tight.
2. Exhale, hollow abdominals and sequence the spine on to the floor.
3. Inhale and lengthen the head away from the feet.
4. Exhale, hollow and roll back up.
Repeat two more sets.

Jesus before Pilate and the denial of St. Peter - Holy Trinity Church of Momo (Novara)
L'oratorio della Santissima Trinità di Momo è un tesoro di arte e storia, situato poco più di un km a nord del paese di Momo, anticamente si trovava lungo uno dei percorsi percorsi dai pellegrini che si recavano si recavano a Santiago di Compostela, a Roma e a Loreto. A conferma di ciò la presenza, all'interno, di affreschi raffiguranti la scene dei Discepoli di Emmaus, con Gesù nei panni di un pellegrino di Santiago, del Trasporto della Santa Casa a Loreto e dell'Alloggio dei Pellegrini come esempio di opera di misericordia.
Nel 1512 l’interno della chiesa fu oggetto di un vasto ed articolato intervento decorativo, ad opera dei fratelli Sperindio e Francesco Cagnola: si tratta certamente di un esempio unico nel Novarese per unitarietà e qualità. Nel catino la Trinità di misericordia, all’interno della mandorla dai colori dell’arcobaleno, sorretta da cinque angeli, mentre ai lati vi sono altri due angeli musicanti con liuto e viola. Al di sotto vi sono gli Apostoli, più in basso le Sette Opere di misericordia. Lungo le pareti si sviluppano le Storie dell’infanzia e della Passione di Cristo con attenzione anche a particolari tratti dai vangeli apocrifi, seguendo la tendenza della pietà popolare quattrocentesca. Francesco Cagnola sviluppa questo tempa in trentasette riquadri, incorniciati da fasce bianche o rosse: tredici Storie dell’infanzia, ventitre Storie della passione ed infine il Peccato originale. Sull’arco trionfale vi è l’Annunciazione. Nella controfacciata il Giudizio Universale, con il Cristo Giudice accanto alla Vergine e a san Giovanni Battista, realizzato in cinque riquadri: Giudizio, Limbo dei bambini, Limbo dei padri, Purgatorio e Inferno (quest’ultimo sulla parete nord). Figure di Santi sugli archi e della Madonna nell’antico vestibolo.
The Oratory of the Holy Trinity of Momo is a treasure of art and history, located a little more than one km north of the village of Momo. In ancient times it was located along one of the routes taken by pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela, Rome and Loreto. This is confirmed by the presence, inside, of frescoes depicting the scene of the Disciples of Emmaus, with Jesus in the guise of a pilgrim to Santiago, the Transportation of the Holy House to Loreto and the Pilgrims' Lodging as an example of a work of mercy.
In 1512 the interior of the church was the object of a vast and articulated decorative intervention by the brothers Sperindio and Francesco Cagnola: it is certainly a unique example in the Novara area for its unity and quality. In the basin there is the Trinity of mercy, inside the rainbow-coloured mandorla, supported by five angels, while at the sides there are two other angels playing lute and viola. Below are the Apostles, and lower down are the Seven Works of Mercy. Along the walls are developed the Stories of the Infancy and Passion of Christ with attention to details taken from the apocryphal gospels, following the trend of popular piety of the fifteenth century. Francesco Cagnola develops this tempa in thirty-seven panels, framed by white or red bands: thirteen Stories of Infancy, twenty-three Stories of the Passion and finally the Original Sin. On the triumphal arch there is the Annunciation. On the counter-façade is the Last Judgment, with Christ the Judge next to the Virgin and Saint John the Baptist, made up of five panels: Judgment, Children's Limbo, Fathers' Limbo, Purgatory and Hell (the latter on the north wall). Figures of Saints on the arches and of the Madonna in the ancient vestibule.
