Like many departments, Hoffman Estates rolls an ALS engine, which is staffed with firefighter/paramedics on all emergency medical calls in addition to an ambulance.

I took these pics around 2012, Im not sure if Milpitas FD still has this old Pierce reserve engine in service or not. Their entire apparatus fleet was white for a couple decades then they switched back to red trucks several years ago, their newest rigs are painted red & black.
