Yes, too many postcards and holiday brochures look so similar but the simple truth is: real life looks exactly like this. (I was here yesterday and can't believe I'm already back in cold grey Blighty:( )
HSBC, Citi and Barclays are in my feet - and they look so tall from below :) The giant O2 arena is a small blob and the mighty Thames just a brook...
Lesson: it's all a matter of perspective. Rise high above your daily worries and problems to realise how small and insignificant they are!
Another of my dad's radios he'd have with him in the bathroom. This one was for the shower, but after awhile, it always hung there. It doesn't work anymore, as the buttons are all worn off & don't press down anymore. I put the time 1:43 on there using an editing app called PicSayPro.
143 has meaning to my generation. Back in the 1990's, if you had a beeper, this number meant something. To us Northern New Jerseyans, it meant I Love You. That's why I chose that number
We were looking at the 2 dead trees in the yard that are getting cut down soon. Thought this was a great shot, especially when I turned it b&w & put some vignette in the corners. I hope you guys enjoy this beautiful pic of my son!
He's grown sooo much!
Double exposure, that is :) Faked on Xperia Z1 with the Blend app + PicsayPro + SnapSeed
Update Oct-2020: Back in the day one of the apps used had a size limit and this was a very small image (approx 600x600). Nowadays AI resampling fixes this - with Topaz Gigapixel AI it was easily enlarged 4x linear (1,600% pixel count!) with no visible pixelation or artefacts, like a natively higher resolution pic. Not bad!
Not with real fire (see previous image for a reality check). Just playing with the PicSay Pro app on the phone to see how much abuse an image can endure before it tenders useless...
A crappy shot of the snow this morning taken with my HTC Hero mobile phone.
Cross Processed effect applied in the PicSay Pro Android app.
Please don't post any large or sparkly graphics in the comments.
Everyone has at least one shot of a rapeseed field in bright yellow. It's this time of year again and, having resisted the subject for years, I finally committed the sin and snapped a quick phone shot from the fast moving train... Just one and mender again, I promise! :)

TECHNICALLY, I took this after midnight, so TECHNICALLY I "missed" getting an image for the 13th, but I'm the one keeping score, and I say this counts. :-)
My friends 4 yr old son took this pic! I saved it
to my phone, through facebook & edited it with the app, PicSayPro. Its a great app for editing pictures with your phone.

That's shellac, not even vinyl! A proper His Master's Voice record goes with this beauty of a gramophone...
My residence this time was amidst an area of antique shops. Most of their wares were 'as found' (unrestored) old objects, a bargain-hunter's treasure hunt - but this shiny polished thing looked ready to 'plug and play'...
