It was here that I found, after years of fruitless search in libraries, bookstores, and online, the Modern Library Giant edition of Constance Garnett's translation of War and Peace, that I read in my 20s. That alone wins it the prize. But this place is an old-school, old-time, old-fashioned bookstore packed floor to ceiling with what you'd expect and what you'd never expect. Two cats. A+.
