This is the way I feel every morning.

Who, who is not an occupant, is going to go up to the second floor of the Armory of Girard College to use their fire hose?

All week I have been waiting for the sun to shine during the allotted 'golden hour' - then this afternoon, about an hour before sunset, a watery sun peeked out from the grey cloud, casting a golden glow on the trees behind me. I pulled over and took a photo through my wing mirror using my phone....

Well, I had just come from a chiropractic session on my neck so you didn't expect me to turn round, did you? lol :)

I look like 20 miles of rough road!

I don't feel one way or the other about you.

But if you have been sitting beside the lake for several hours, I guess a flask of warming coffee is the only luxury!

This juvenile starling spends a lot of time at the feeder alone. There are no other juveniles who visit, and no adult starlings, either. Over the last week he has been visiting at the same time as the wood pigeon, who seems to tolerate, and even protect him. A strange partnership.

St. Clair River, Port Huron, Michigan.

Sombras alargadas te veo

reflejadas en el suelo

¿ premonición o casualidad ?

¡ que mucho, ya ha llovido ! ,

Y los ríos cansados están

de llevar tanta carga de agua

que se desbordan los niveles

a los que están acostumbrados.

Ya están las tierras regadas

¡ deja que salga un poco de sol !

los humanos agradeceremos ,

disfrutar un poco su calor .

As I had to wait my turn to get into Woburn, due to the car in front of me wanting to pay with a credit card and the card reader playing up, I watched this stag sitting under the tree about 30 feet away. He occasionally gave a 'call' and tossed his head, but remained under his tree. You can see he has already broken some of his antlers, and they are draped with debris.

Well there's a dark and a troubled side of life.

There's a bright and a sunny side too.

But if you meet with the darkness and strife,

The sunny side we also may view.

Keep on the sunny side, always on the sunny side,

Keep on the sunny side of life.

It will help us every day, it will brighten all the way,

If we keep on the sunny side of life.

Oh, the storm and its fury broke today,

Crushing hopes that we cherish so dear.

Clouds and storms will in time pass away.

The sun again will shine bright and clear.

Keep on the sunny side, always on the sunny side,

Keep on the sunny side of life.

It will help us every day, it will brighten all the way,

If we'll keep on the sunny side of life.

Let us greet with a song of hope each day.

Though the moments be cloudy or fair.

Let us trust in our Saviour always,

To keep us, every one, in His care.

Keep on the sunny side, always on the sunny side,

Keep on the sunny side of life.

It will help us every day, it will brighten all the way,

If we'll keep on the sunny side of life.

If we'll keep on the sunny side of life
