As I had to wait my turn to get into Woburn, due to the car in front of me wanting to pay with a credit card and the card reader playing up, I watched this stag sitting under the tree about 30 feet away. He occasionally gave a 'call' and tossed his head, but remained under his tree. You can see he has already broken some of his antlers, and they are draped with debris.

" Shortly after we left the war torn planet of Atraken and returned to the Republic cruiser Endurance, I received my platoon's... or rather my next assignment. My orders were to select three troopers from my platoon and then report to the Internal Security Bureau on Coruscant. There we would be briefed on an under cover mission with the objective of infiltrating the bounty hunter guild which appeared to be thriving within Coruscant's lower levels. This mission would be dangerous probably the most dangerous one the Republic has thrown at the 253rd, we weren't going up against battle droids this time instead we would be going up against ruthless and trained killers. Originally I planned on going solo on this one, but I eventually agreeded to let Lucky tag along. After a quick visit to the Endurance's armory Lucky and I no longer looked like the disciplined faceless soldiers we were meant to be. Instead of our standard shiny white armor we wore a mix of cloth and steel.
It was here in the armory where an angry Rook confronted me about me decision to bench the rest of the platoon. Though no matter how compelling his argument was my decision stayed the same. We had just barley made it off Atraken without a signal casualtie and there was no way in hell that I was going to risk loosing anyone on the Republic's homeworld..."

My first build for SoNE over on Eurobricks.

Just a side note to the people trying to get into the 253rd, please put a little more time and quality into your applications, as of late several entries appear to be an assortment of random bricks thrown together on a 16x16 base and a terrible photo (this also goes for some of our members :P ).
(Note I am willing to hand out advice and "work" with people on their entries)

No - he was listening to the neighbour cutting the grass with a petrol mower - the noise was disturbing his peaceful repose in the sunlight.

After my successful mission on board the Black Sun station in deep space, Command was kind enough to hand me a promotion and put me in charge of the 253rds very own Item Company. After a few transfers, the men of Whiskey Company's first platoon were back under my command. I was then told to select a small squad to accompany me to Mon Cala, our next mission...

"Today was the day, today we brought the fight to the Seps today we invade Raxus Prime the birthplace of the CIS. Our mission was simple establish a perimeter around the LZ, set up the sensor array and scout out the surrounding terrain. The Gunships set us down about 10 kilos away from a suspected sep factory, I led my new squad away from the LZ keeping an eye out for any sign of droid activity but the trek turned out to be a relatively quiet one. After about a kilometer of walking we finally stumbled upon a droid patrol, they didn't stand a chance. After picking off the clankers Rook and Castle began to set up the sensor arrays while me a Lucky stood guard. Once the task was over we made camp in the burnt out carcass of what apeared to have once been some sort of ship and waited for the calvary to arrive."

I highly recommend all you star wars fans out there pull out your bricks and apply for the 253rd! Now I bet you're all wondering "now what does one have to do to get into such an awesome reboot of a once amazing group?" All you need to do is build a 16x16 vig with at least on clone trooper tag Tyler, Myself or any of the other admins/mods send us a request and boom you're in!
