"The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.”

"It takes a long time to become young.”

Saw this five-part series of Pablo Picasso 'One line art' hanging on the wall at a friend's house.

During the early 20th century a number of artists including Pablo Picasso were influenced by the simple, stylised images produced by non-Western societies. As a result, Picasso produced a set of simplified animal drawings (more than the shown 5) all executed by a single unbroken line.

this is my final smoke shot for the 2020 100X project, the project started back in January 3rd with a smokey happy new year 2020, little did I know how smokey it would be in 2020, however 20/20 is perfect vision and even with all the smoke, I removed my rose colored glasses and saw the world in perfect vision. Now I finish the year with a smokey Picasso type smoke capture. Where as with all Picasso art the details are there just not in the proper place, you can see a nose, the ear in the upper right, a mouth then the eye peering into a telescope to see the year 2021, It is coming and nothing can stop what is coming, 365 days of digital clarity. What is 21 but triple 7s. Happy New Year the year is here for you to mold it not to let it mold you, you are the potter it is the clay, form it into a useful vessel and if necessary smash it down and start over but don't settle for a disfigured 2021.

It is a lot like life.... full of contrast... full of symmetry, patterns that we easily recognize and (sometimes) associate with beauty (sorry Picasso :-))…

I was very disappointed with my underwater camera; most shots didn't work at all! I ended up using David's GoPro to take some video.
