I saw this little van in Fowey. I thought it was ideal for operating in the town's narrow streets.
'Country: Italy
Fuel System: Electronic fuel injection
Transmission: Automatic, centrifugal clutch
Brakes: Front and rear disc
Weight: 560 lbs.
The first thing to notice is the unusual twin front wheel design, the wheels lean or bank like a conventional motorcycle resulting in exceptional stability in adverse conditions. One of the negatives features of this design is the increased weight on the vehicle. And it was not widely accepted by the motorcycle public.'

On 22 November 2018, Piaggio Aerospace entered receivership after declaring itself insolvent as its restructuring plan failed. The future of this aircraft program still is questionable - 246 aircraft have been produced so far.
During 1966, the Piaggio business was separated into the aviation-focused Piaggio Aero and the motor scooter manufacturer Vespa.
