Since physically the Contax rangefinder mount was the same, these lenses could be used with the Panflex housing although, since the Panflex was shorter than the Nikon Reflex housing, close focusing was lost.
The Erechtheion is some ways physically represents the naming of the city of Athens. As the story goes, Zeus decided that each that both Poseidon (the god of the sea) and Athena (the goddess of wisdom) would present the city with gifts to win their favor. Poseidon struck his trident in the ground and a spring flowed forth, but the people were not impressed, for the water was salty and tasted like the ample sea. Athena planted the seed of an olive tree, which provided the people with food, oil and wood. The choice was clear and the city was named for the goddess Athena. (But to keep Poseidon from being upset, they dedicated the rear porch of the Erechtheion -- the rest is for Athena. Nici and I jokingly refer to this as Zeus' Water Closet.)

I am Lily. I am physically stronger than my sisters. I am an athelete. I get off the couch once a day. I am a spy and I know you. Together the love my sisters and I share is strong as the mountains. You are drab and colorless. I will blast you with colors like you have never seen. The beauty around you will be revealed and you will cower. The yellow of the sun will melt you, the blue of the sky will blind you, the green of the ocean will overpower you, red and purple and orange will dazzle you. You will be filled with confusion. You will never succeed. You will be hurled through space and you will dissapate. You will not succeed and I will do a victory dance. For now here is one song I never want to lose: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMK2cnFtIcU&feature=fvst
I tag you to put up a photo of your girl who wants to help defeat Xemoo and a link to a song.
McGary is a physically imposing presence in the paint with good size, tremendous upper body strength, and limitless energy and physicality. He is proactive seeking out contact inside, a consistent finisher, and high volume two way rebounder. He is incredibly active with a terrific motor and great toughness. The lefty is skilled enough to stretch the defense to 18 feet, has the dexterity to dunk with both hands in congestion, and sets big screens both on and off the ball. He runs well in straight lines and has pretty soft hands around the basket. He is more of a screener than he is a back to the basket scorer at this point in his development and needs to establish more of an ability to create his own shot from the post. He also needs to improve his right hand as he is all right shoulder in the post and can only put the ball on the floor with his dominant hand. His basketball I.Q. and feel for the game are also somewhat limited as he plays with more blind aggression at the moment.-ESPN.com-

SPORTS
In their recreational life, Amazonian Indians enjoy a variety of sports. many are physically demanding, and the participants paly them with zest and vigor. Indians generally believe that "the game's the thing", and the winners rarely exult at the expense of the losers.
WRESTLING
Wrestling in Amazonia follows varying but specific rules. For example, a Bakairi wrestler uses his shoulder to knock down his opponent, while Kayapo wrestlers seize each other around the waist and, without moving their feet, try to throw each other off balance.
Men in the Upper Xingu practice a form of wrestling called huka huka because they imitate the jaguar's growl as they circle each other to begin a match. In this contest, a wrestler tries to grab his adversary's thigh in order to throw him to the ground. However, because such a defeat is humiliating to the loser, grasping the back of the opponent's thigh is enough to win. Wrestlers practice all year for the big matches between villages that follow the kuarup ceremony (see Ceremonies section). The man who defeats all comers emerges as champion of the Upper Xingu, a high honor long remembered.
WARAO SHIELD WRESTLING
Warao men engage in shield wrestling during their drinking bouts. The shields, made from palm fronds, are 3 or 4 feet (1 to 1.2 meters) high, colorfully painted and have tassels at the top. The Reverend W.H. Brett, who witnessed this contest in the 1840s, described it:
"Each champion grasps the edges of his shield firmly with both hands, and, after various feints and grimaces to throw his opponent off his guard, a clash is heard, as one springs forward, and his shield strikes that of his adversary. The contest is generally one of mere strength, the shield being pushed forward by the force of the whole body, and supported by one knee, while the other leg is extended behind. Sometimes one of the players is able to push the other off the ground, or, by a dextrous slip and thrust on the flank, to send him rolling on the ground. More frequently they remain pressing, panting, and struggling, till exhausted, when the contest ceases by mutual consent."
The adversaries then shake their shields at each other, uttering a defiant sound which ends in general laughter. Another pair of contestants then step forward.
SPEAR THROWER GAME
This martial arts game, played in the upper Xingu area of Brazil, pits players from two different villages. The attacking player carries a spear thrower and a cane spear tipped with a hard nut or a blunt stone. The defender is equipped with a shield: a bundle of long, narrow sticks tied at both ends. The attacker takes a few running steps and hurls his spear full force at his opponent's legs. The defender must keep the bottom of his shield on the ground, but may move the top to ward off the blow. He may also twist his body to dodge the missile. After a player has hurled his spear, the opponents reverse roles. Participants play the game in earnest and often suffer bad bruises or even broken bones; nevertheless, they carry no grudges.
Now I'm getting really tired, physically and mentally. My back started aching, and I'm tired. These houses are beautiful, but I'm just tired, had seen enough? It's really time to go up a castle on a hilltop, and get us ice cream...
(( But by the time we got there, it was around 5pm, and it was closed -although the road signed said it was open until 23:00. I'm not sure how my photo walking partner was doing but we didn't even bothered to walk around the castle, but straight went back to the car, and head for an ice cream shop))

The aim of the project this piece was created for was to figure out a way to represent our chosen words physically. We had a range of 3D materials to use, and I chose cement as I envisioned something similar to a loaf of sliced bread for the word "slice". Using cement made it much easier to indent the word at the same time as separating the slices as opposed to wood or a material I would have to chisel or grind down.
The method I used to make this went as follows: I created a cardboard mould in my desired shape, making sure it wasn't too deep (the slice side of the cuboid would be facing down for this), and then cut out the lettering I would need to spell the word. I laid that backwards along the bottom of my mould, stuck it down, and then cut out 5 strips of card long and wide enough to fit snugly into the mould without leaving too much of a gap. I sealed them in with glue and tape, making sure it was as tight as possible, before pouring in the concrete and leaving it to set.
All that was left to do afterwards was remove the mould once the concrete had set, and then arrange the slices so that the word was facing forwards. I thought it was quite effective as a finished piece, and really like how it turned out.

Nothing changes physically down the Old High Street but it has become the 'Arty' Area and there is also a range of very good cafes and restaurants. It is something of an effort for me to walk up this street now.
