So here I am on my 50th picture-a-day in a row. Thanks to everyone that has been reading my blog. Even if you just pass by every once in a while, I’m humbled that people take time to look. I appreciate the comments, both in person and here and on Facebook and Myspace. Next milestone is my 100th photo. Gotta do something special. A nude protest or something crazy like that. OK maybe not.

Anyway, here are the lyrics to “Man in the Mirror” by Michael Jackson according to my son:

I’m starving with the man in the mirror. I’m asking him for change away. If you wanna make a bet, I betcha place, take a look at you self and make a CHAAAAANGE!

Meh.. not brilliant. 5 seconds is too long to handhold a P20 Pro... Anyway a long day and family issues, so this'll have to do... :-/

photo a day #3653

This photo marks 10 years of photo-a-day. I haven't been uploading to flickr recently, but I've still been shooting everyday. I'm also trying to write a perl script to automate the uploading of my photos. This photo did upload using my script, but I'm still working on getting the right tags, albums and comments added. Right now that's manual.

I miss London but on days like this not so much.

Some Lichen on a bush in the garden.

Had a pretty cool day exploring this place with a friend today. Not too much around but it’s an interesting photo location nonetheless. Hopefully I can come back at some point to get some more pics in future!

What a night! A truly once in a lifetime experience. I saw Comet Neowise as shown here; behind me Saturn and Jupiter were visible; the Milky Way stretched across the entire sky; two shooting stars; and the ISS orbited overhead too.

Comet Neowise is the first comet visible to the naked eye for 23 years and won't return to Earth for 7000 years!

Wearing a purple sun dress on a grey and rainy Friday. Blurgh. Brave the rain for an appointment, then a meeting and then a run to the hotel.

cranberry apple hibiscus tea. it's the prettiest red, which this blue teacup doesn't quite show off.

Sticking to the everyday again today. Whatever crosses my path.

Yes, it is Avery's birthday today! So happy to spend the day with her doing all of her favorite things...toysrus, lunch at Logan's (she loves the peanuts), icee's at Target...Chuck-E-Cheese for dinner tonight. Gonna keep this short so I dont get teary-eyed. A Candyland theme party is planned for this Saturday....more fun to come!

A trip to midtown on a slow saturday morning. And a reward for the very busy February.

Taken during a rare gap in the rain.
