Frost all over this morning, tried frozen bubbles but it wasn't cold enough, so went for a walk. Not much going on but then a fox ran out in front of me.

The photo called for a bit of snow, so I added it in PP... ;)

Another chilly, winter day. ❄️

Thank you for the visit. I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday. :)

It's been a dull old day here so I had to use artificial light for this.

So here I am on my 50th picture-a-day in a row. Thanks to everyone that has been reading my blog. Even if you just pass by every once in a while, I’m humbled that people take time to look. I appreciate the comments, both in person and here and on Facebook and Myspace. Next milestone is my 100th photo. Gotta do something special. A nude protest or something crazy like that. OK maybe not.

Anyway, here are the lyrics to “Man in the Mirror” by Michael Jackson according to my son:

I’m starving with the man in the mirror. I’m asking him for change away. If you wanna make a bet, I betcha place, take a look at you self and make a CHAAAAANGE!

it's official … we're getting married on March 9th in Sydney.

Anyone paying close attention will notice that I missed a 365 yesterday. My bad! I was stressed out all day, and then once the stress ended, I was pleasantly otherwise distracted. Three minutes after midnight, I realized I hadn't taken a photo. Oh well.

This photo marks 10 years of photo-a-day. I haven't been uploading to flickr recently, but I've still been shooting everyday. I'm also trying to write a perl script to automate the uploading of my photos. This photo did upload using my script, but I'm still working on getting the right tags, albums and comments added. Right now that's manual.

13th July 2010.

Bad case of the CBAs today.

It's raining, got a sore nose and throat and couldn't be ***** to find a more interesting subject than the above.

i look really enthusiastic, don't i!

Had a trip to Winter Wonderland with the girlfriend for some ice skating before it closed and took the glass orb just in case. Luckily we found this carousel which was exactly what I had in mind for this shot.

Captain Jack Sparrow AKA Jonty Depp at Plymouth Pirate Weekend.

I've passed this store countless times and I've always wanted to grab a photo of it. I love the mid-century aesthetic. I love that it still proudly maintains it's throw-back, "jewel of the neighborhood" pride (that neon sign is huge and wonderful!). The problem was that there was always some vehicle parked out in front that spoiled the scene, or the light was bad, or there were shows, or, or, or....

Today, however, everything came into alignment, and so I have a photo of the day.

Sticking to the everyday again today. Whatever crosses my path.

On 14th April Liverpool played Everton in the FA Cup semi-final. The occasion was particularly poignant because it fell a day before the anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster. Thoughts are with the 96 who died and their families who still have unanswered questions

As a result of the disaster terraces were abandoned and all grounds in the big divisions now have to be all-seated, guaranteeing the safety of all supporters at matches today.

Yes, it is Avery's birthday today! So happy to spend the day with her doing all of her favorite things...toysrus, lunch at Logan's (she loves the peanuts), icee's at Target...Chuck-E-Cheese for dinner tonight. Gonna keep this short so I dont get teary-eyed. A Candyland theme party is planned for this Saturday....more fun to come!
