Three phoenix trees and a very large trunk at the side of the River.
Bodnant Garden is a National Trust property near Tal-y-Cafn, Conwy, Wales, overlooking the Conwy Valley towards the Carneddau mountains. Founded in 1874 and developed by five generations of one family, it was given to the National Trust in 1949.
Reborn, the phoenix rises from the oasis to rule the desert once again. A little off the myth and maybe I'm a little weird, but that's what this image said to me ;-)
The Aurora Borealis captured over North East Iceland resembling what looks like a Phoenix rising in to the sky.
This fall in Yellowknife, me and another 6 photographers observed a truly amazing light, pretty much like a phoenix, flying over the tundra.
Absolutely a MUST to visit. Phoenix Secondus is a huge beautiful SIM with a ton of unique places full of atmosphere. You won't regret it!

As the sun dips below the horizon, Phoenix is bathed in a soft gradient of gold and indigo. Silhouettes of desert trees and distant mountains frame a tranquil pond, reflecting the fleeting colors of twilight. Die Historie der Gebläsehalle ist ebenfalls Bestandteil der Ausstellung.
Die Halle, die nun als Ausstellungsfläche dient, wurde 1905 zunächst als Gasgebläsehalle für die Hochöfen des Stahlwerks errichtet. 2002 wurde das Gebäudeensemble "Phoenix-West" in die Liste der Dortmunder Denkmäler aufgenommen, womit auch die Halle unter Denkmalschutz steht.

The history of the blower hall is also part of the exhibition.
The hall, which now serves as an exhibition area, was initially built in 1905 as a gas blower hall for the steelworks' blast furnaces. In 2002 the building ensemble “Phoenix-West” was built. included in the list of Dortmund monuments, which means that the hall is also a listed building
A macro of a yellow lily. When I composed this shot, the stigma & stamens reminded me of a phoenix rising from the fire and ashes, which in this picture are the bokeh'd petals.

I am finally planning a book of my best photographs--a portfolio of sorts, but I am having a little trouble deciding on which photos to consider.
