Built for the Philippine LUG (PhLUG) 2014 Mech Wars community build challenge.
For the challenge, I decided to make an outsider/mercenary -ish mech that was somewhat skeletal but wielded an over sized weapon.

Ascendant Lords

Having survived Melchior's Dirge, the house of Ezterhazy, an old but wealthy clan, joined the Ascendant Lords vision of creating a new world order. After several years of development they were able to build their first ReFrame, the FLTN001 'Florestan'.
Piloted by Miel Esterhazy, one the youngest member of the clan, Florestan boasts of heavy shoulder armor and a quorus powered back booster to charge at enemy lines with reckless abandon . Once it's near enough it uses its CW XT04 to shred enemy ReFrames within seconds.
One thing is said of Florestan, once you see it from afar, do not engage. Run away..

Basically rebuilt the Deity into my new frames with improved stability and better articulation.
Also, brand new color scheme using mostly pearl gold pieces and black for the most of the frame. Retained some reds and DBG there for a little variation.
And changed the overall proportion of the mech to a more feminine type.

NEST - FD05VF Vanguard
Medium Reframe
Classification: Medium Range
Armaments: (1) PR-LGS01, (1) ML-VMC036
Other: (2) X88-BP mount on sides
Armed with their newly commissioned pulse rifle equipped with a laser guided system linked to NEST orbital sattelites, the Vanguard is capable of hitting enemies with high accuracy, thus making it one of NEST's premier support units.
While not primarily designed to completely destroy enemy reframes, it is a master of crippling them thus allowing the Goliath and Seeker units to finish the job. A back Variable Missile Launcher help keeps aerial and long range units at bay and two side booster packs give it added maneuverability.

Upgraded build. Changed the head and left shoulder to something with more character.
Upgraded hammer to have a better side profile. Removed a few things from the back to streamline the look more.

Really wanted to give this guy a huge hammer and a really nice headdress and ended up with this design.
Thanks to J Sam's inspiration pics of Aztec warriors :P One of them contained a ring of sorts behind the head and that inspired the back piece.

Himinioðurr
Heaven's Horizon
The Himinioðurr (hi-mi-ni-yo-dur) is a single pilot orbital-class dropship designed to transport troops to the battlefield while being able to provide huge artillery support.

Build notes:
build duration: roughly a week
Definitely my biggest build as of date. While not exactly the most complex build, working on a big ship (40+ studs) was a challenge since I have no experience whatsoever in it and had to research on ship frame techniques for stability and being able to latch on "panels" for the design. I'm now out of DBG bricks haha!
Getting specific angles on this thing was something I needed to have and was achieved by using plate hinges and click joints (the booster units are actually 3 click joint assemblies to hold the vents, top, and side covers, and 1 ball joint for the booster)

Highly influenced by Armored Core 4's Aaliyah design and the Laser Rifle is actually a tribute to one of the best looking (IMO) weapons in Armored Core, the Karasawa.

Created specifically for the Kingdom of Vzir's twin female monarch, Rin Al' Vzir, this unique Ascendant Lord reFrame is one of the most intricate reFrames in current existence.
While not as robust as his twin brother's reFrame, the Vzir' Rin was built to be both highly mobile and deadly with the AX-ALVZR, an elegant axe that could split entire reFrames in two. It is also equipped with a special flight back unit with a mirror-like polished golden Quorus core, allowing it to glide gracefully in the battlefield.

Build notes:
My first reFrame for our ongoing Mech Wars over at our LUG (PhLUG). This was built with a grand color scheme in mind, sporting mostly white and gold details. It was a challenge making this both look feminine and ornate considering there's not really much golden parts to use (all those gold bad robot arms!)
The idea for the huge back was taken from those 18th century big poofy dresses. Wanted to give her something that would resemble a rear balloon skirt but ended up making her a flight pack instead.
Pretty happy with this and I really like her axe XD
P.S. she has a mean looking twin brother ;)
