Bill was a professor of philosophy at Metropolitan State College of Denver. We spent a couple of day together in Rome, exploring the city, where I rode local commuter trains with him as he told me of his days as a hobo during the great depression. One day he bought an Ocarina at a music store we found near the Pantheon and the rest of the day was like being with the Pied Piper as we wandered the alleys of Rome trailed by laughing children.
Being a true blue vintage amp guy and die hard tele chicken-picking guy I've always swore off compressors.... til now. I always wanted to try this one so I bit the bullet to give it a shot for myself. Glad I did, it's a nice transparent compressor.
