I composed this photograph while walking through the PGA (Professional Golfers of America) West community in LaQuinta, California. I found the colours, landscape lines, natural vegetation and distant mountain views to be attractive. I also couldn't help but notice that - for good or ill - this entity and its surrounds were birthed out of drab and endless desert. BTW, a PGA tournament is being held at PGA West this week.

One of the best courses I've ever played. Also great scenery.

Some scans of recently discovered old 6 x 4 prints taken by myself back in the 1980s and 1990s. These were taken with my trusted Canon AE1 camera and at the time I didn’t think some of them were good enough to use however, I thought some might find them interesting and that I would now share them.

Digital Dry Brush Oils Painting - - Smart Photo Editor.

World Golf Village, St Augustine, Florida.

While scampering around (hmm, do I really scamper...) before the holidays, I always seem to make it up to the PGA Spa to grab a couple of gift certificates for loved ones.

As I was leaving the Spa, I glanced out of the corner of my eye, turned my head as I kept driving, and almost hit a palm tree trying to soak in the beautiful light raking across the front lawn.

Well, I thought about it, slammed on the brakes , and made a U turn so I could capture a little bit of it. As I look at this now, especially after last week and the next couple of weeks to come, I cant help but wish I picked up a couple for myself!!!
