Images taken at Special Stage 2, Hafren Sweet Lamb 1 of the 2012 Wales Rally GB round of the World Rally Championship (WRC).
Much of the construction is still done using traditional tools and manual methods, nevertheless, the workmanship is very good. The carpenter is using a wooden plane to smooth the edges of these solid pine and solid mahogany doors. The windows seen in the background are double glazed vinyl-over-wood set into frames. The walls and floors are poured concrete.
Syercote Lane, Wigginton, Tamworth. Thought I'd have a look at an old frequented location with news of tree trimming by the road over bridge. Bush growth from the field's views makes it hard to do shots from them which was always a favorite view. The bridge gives an ok view, different from Portway but not as pleasant on the eye as Portway 1/2 a mile North of this bridge.
PG&E installed a SmartMeter on our house last week. Let's see how fast our electricity bill goes through the roof...
Night zoom pan shots at Tamworth station Wednesday/Thursday and Saturday 19/20/22nd November 2014 Wed/Thursday were to photograph Bescot's Malc Thorpe on the Royal train (Wednesday the train was after the station had shut) Thursday quite foggy and Saturday for the two steam specials though 4464 Bittern didn't come out well enough.
