Syercote Lane, Wigginton, Tamworth. Thought I'd have a look at an old frequented location with news of tree trimming by the road over bridge. Bush growth from the field's views makes it hard to do shots from them which was always a favorite view. The bridge gives an ok view, different from Portway but not as pleasant on the eye as Portway 1/2 a mile North of this bridge.

Been kind of over doing the Normanton on Soar location for the HST's over the last month (though have messed a few shots up with lack of rail photography practice or camera focusing on bridge/other or camera refusing to fire) as well as the option of wildlife photography at Normanton bring me back, especially as Kingfishers back after 3 years. Some of the last moves of EMR trains HST's crossing the River Soar, Normanton on Soar, before being taken out of service over March/April 2021

Absolute gent and excellent railway photographer Jim Mosley with GBRF 66716 and new Euro 66, 66798 arriving at Bardon Hill on a Longport - Stafford - Bardon Hill move for onward movement to Peterborough and a few fitments. Move had to change to a 0m70 Stafford - Bardon Hill as times clashed with a Westbury - Stud farm on the KSL branch all at the same time, so was held and retimed from Stafford. 24th June 2021
