This was taken in Dayton, Ohio at Wegerzyn Gardens with my 135mm lens + 20mm Extension tube. This is on the front cover of next years calendar 2017 that my Sister makes of Chubby's flower pictures for the last six years called Up Close & Personal which she gives out as a present at Christmas time to her friends. I could have literally stayed in this spot all day. I cannot describe in words the peacefulness of this particular spot.
Cuando Marilyn Monroe murió el dejó todos sus objetos personales a Lee Strasberg, director, actor, profesor de cine y de teatro. Este legado contenía vestidos, joyas, cosméticos, fotos y toda clase de documentos; entre ellos, dos cajas con poemas y manuscritos.
A Marilyn le encantaba la pintura; entre sus pintores favoritos figuraba Goya y sus pinturas negras; de él dijo una vez: “Conozco muy bien a ese hombre, tenemos los mismos sueños, llevo desde pequeña teniendo los mismos sueños”
Algunas de sus poesías son pura sensibilidad y dicen mucho de ella. Os propongo una de ellas

II know I spend far too much time trying to photograph blue jays. I find it a personal affront that they seek to do their best to hide behind the first layer of foliage when they fly away so you can't get their photo.
So, it was with great glee that I tracked this one into a tree where he thought he was invisible but he did not take into account the angle I had on him which gave me a tunnel through the leaves to where he was sitting.
By the way, did you spot the moth that he has captured?
