"Porto de Galinhas is a beach in the municipality of Ipojuca, Pernambuco, Brazil. Porto de Galinhas is a major tourist destination. The beach is famous for its bright-water beaches and the natural pools. It is part of the municipality of Ipojuca, and located 60 kilometers south of the state capital, Recife."
When I was a child and frequented this beach in the late 1950s, it was a natural paradise, without electricity or running water. Once, in the 19th century, it was a natural port for economic exchanges between the sugarcane region and foreign merchants.
A lovely view in Praia dos Carneiros, Tamandaré, Pernambuco, Brazil! Clear waters, white sand, green palmtrees and a blue sky! An amazing landscape in the beautiful coast of Pernambuco state. I love visiting Tamandaré and the beautiful Carneiros beach! A great place for vacations! :D
