Comissão Mista Permanente sobre Migrações Internacionais e Refugiados (CMMIR) realiza reunião semipresencial para instalação da comissão e eleição do presidente e vice-presidente.
A CMMIR fiscaliza e monitora movimentos migratórios nas fronteiras do Brasil e os direitos dos refugiados. Com 12 senadores e 12 deputados como membros titulares, escolhidos pelo critério da proporcionalidade partidária, a comissão tem ainda como foco a análise das causas e efeitos de fluxos migratórios internacionais para o Brasil.

Era uno de los grandes objetivos de la sección, que ve como el primer equipo masculino obtiene el ascenso a División de Honor A y el femenino se mantiene en la categoría de plata
El primer equipo de hockey hierba femenino logró la permanencia en la Primera División femenina tras vencer por 0-1 en un duelo directo contra el San Pablo Valdeluz Complutense de Madrid. Las azulgranas supieron sufrir durante el encuentro y se aseguraron la continuidad en la segunda categoría del hockey hierba. Este hito, uno de los grandes objetivos de la temporada, permitirá seguir con el trabajo y el desarrollo del hockey hierba femenino azulgrana.
En cuanto al primer equipo masculino, después de asegurarse el ascenso, terminó la temporada con una victoria ante el CD Terrassa por 3-2. El encuentro, que no tenía efectos de cara a la clasificación, comenzó con los dos equipos haciendo el pasillo de honor al equipo infantil azulgrana, campeón de España en hockey sala.

Finalmente, este fin de semana, en las instalaciones Pau Negre se ha celebrado la Final Four de la Euro Hockey League (EHL), que ha tenido al equipo holandés del SV Kampong como vencedor final.
Cabe destacar que, el sábado 14, hubo un partido de exhibición de Hockey + entre la selección de Barcelona y la selección del Vallès. El FC Barcelona aportó un total de seis jugadores en este partido: Eric Corzo, Carlos Galindo, Fernando y Pablo Rodríguez, Luís Loza y Ainara.

Exposición permanente
Forma la colección permanente un numeroso conjunto de piezas (más de siete mil, sin contar libros, documentos y fotografías), de lo que se expone aproximadamente un cincuenta por ciento, que se agrupa en cuatro grandes áreas: Biología marina, Carpintería de ribera, Pesca tradicional e Historia de la navegación. Hagamos una breve descripción de sus contenidos.
Biología marina
El área de Biología marina sirve como una introducción al medio marino, y está formada por una amplia muestra de flora y fauna marinas, que abarca desde los tiempos prehistóricos (representados por numerosos especímenes fósiles), hasta los peces vivos que evolucionan en unos pequeños acuarios. Hay una espléndida colección de malacología, con bellos ejemplares que sorprenden por su brillo y colorido, y también crustáceos, corales, esponjas, aves que habitan los acantilados,..
Carpintería de ribera
La Carpintería de ribera puede considerarse uno de los puntos fuertes del Museo, pues hace honor a la importancia secular que tuvo en Luanco, donde se construyeron innumerables embarcaciones para todos los puertos del Cantábrico. Se ubica en la nave central del Museo, donde se ha reconstruido el casetón de un astillero, formado con elementos auténticos de antiguos talleres: herramientas, plantillas, gálibos, vagras, piezas de madera.
Pesca tradicional
El área de Pesca tradicionalestá próxima a la de Carpintería de ribera, compartiendo con ella la nave central, ya que entre ambas existe una obvia relación de complementariedad. Conforma esta sección una gran variedad de artes y aparejos de pesca -redes de abareque, volanta, palangres, caceas, cales, nasas, cedazos, trueles, fisgas, poteras,...-, clasificadas según las especies a capturar, todas del entorno del Mar Cantábrico -bonito, congrio, lubina, xarda, palometa, merluza, besugo, pulpo, angula...
Historia de la navegación
La sección de Historia de la navegación ocupa la segunda planta y en ella se hace un recorrido por la evolución de la tipología de los buques, con la exhibición de casi un centenar de maquetas elaboradas con todo detalle. Desde la remota Antigüedad hasta la actualidad, se pueden ver barcos egipcios, fenicios, griegos, romanos, vikingos, que dan paso al desarrollo de la vela con la carabela portuguesa, el galeón español, los espectaculares navíos de gran aparejo y los rápidos clipers, para desembocar en los barcos de vapor y después en los de motor.

Much of John Petrey’s work has a nostalgic component that reflects various aspects of childhood memories and relationships from our past. “Blue Boy – Pull Toy #1” is a giant sized version of a child’s pull toy and a full-scaled rendition of a rhinoceros. The sculpture represents how we remembered things to be so much bigger when we were young. The pull toy is so big, it is as if a child’s personal toy has come to life and is a pet being walked on a leash. The bright blue color reflects the vividness of a child’s memory. Originally in the Fourth Biennial Sculpture Exhibition, the work was purchased in 2011 to become a permanent part of the City's public art collection.

A comissão mista foi criada em 2019 para acompanhar movimentos migratórios nas fronteiras do Brasil e a situação dos refugiados internacionais dentro do País. O colegiado precisa ser reinstalado todos os anos. A composição é de 12 senadores e 12 deputados como membros titulares e mesmo número de suplentes, escolhidos pelo critério da proporcionalidade partidária.

Tasting Britain got an invite down to the (recently permanent) Beers & Buns Residency above the K10 in Appold Street, Bishopsgate. A strong time was had by all. What's it all about then? In a nutshell, it's their take on an Izakaya (wikipedia: "a type of informal Japanese drinking establishment that serves food to accompany the drinks"), and has done rather well since it opened in February 2012. Think Asian street food and a massive selection of rare/unusual Japanese craft beers. It's the only place in the UK where you get Hitachino Nest (owl beer!) on draught. And one of the only places you can get the Asahi Super Dry, âsuper coldâ draught (properly served at -2 degrees celsius which supposedly maintains carbonation for longer).
Asides from this, there's a small wine selection (one of every colour, no fortifieds), plus 2 selections of sake (one served hot, one served cold). There were a few milestones here. For example, this is the first time I ever saw a soju bomb or a sake bomb, which are consumed by knocking a 25ml shot of sake into a glass of Asahi by slamming down on a metal drum/barrel (yes, there are lots of barrels around here). I like the idea of this because it involves sake/soju and doesnât involve energy drinks or Jagermeister (which, let's be blunt, are disgusting and do bad things for your body). We got to chat with a chill guy called Jon, who gave us their backstory. Jonâs an ex professional rugby player who kinda fell into a career in hospitality after an injury.
Second milestone? This is the first time I have ever consumed a beer made of sweet potato, which was better than I expected but not as good as I hoped. How about food? Korean style jumbo chicken wings in an array of fkn EXTREME sauces, steamed 'hirata' buns full of a selection of highly delicious and unhealthful fillings (the Aunbergine Katsu turned out to be the best). Also a classic/grunge rock soundtrack, retro pinball and fusball tables and black walls that everybody is encouraged to draw all over with conveniently located pieces of chalk. It's a relaxed, fun atmosphere and is entirely unpretentious (I won't be the first to have said thisâ¦). Would return oh yes.

Reykjavík is the capital and largest city of Iceland. It is located in southwestern Iceland, on the southern shore of Faxaflói bay. Its latitude is 64°08' N, making it the world's northernmost capital of a sovereign state.[a] With a population of around 128,793 (and 228,231 in the Capital Region), it is the center of Iceland's cultural, economic and governmental activity, and is a popular tourist destination.
Reykjavík is believed to be the location of the first permanent settlement in Iceland, which, according to Landnámabók, was established by Ingólfr Arnarson in AD 874. Until the 19th century, there was no urban development in the city location. The city was founded in 1785 as an official trading town and grew steadily over the following decades, as it transformed into a regional and later national centre of commerce, population, and governmental activities. It is among the cleanest, greenest, and safest cities in the world.
The world’s largest permanent exhibition space for Western art is in Cartersville, Georgia at the Booth Western Art Museum.
Open since 2003 and located just north of Atlanta along I-75, the Booth is the largest museum of its kind in the Southeast and an Affiliate to the Smithsonian Institution. At 120,000 square feet, the Booth is an architectural wonder – designed to resemble a modern pueblo and constructed from Bulgarian limestone. The Booth’s permanent collection of Western art, Presidential portraits and letters, and Civil War art allows visitors to “See America’s Story” – the land, people, struggles, dreams, and legends – in paintings, sculpture, photography and artifacts. Sagebrush Ranch is an award-winning, hands-on experience and interactive children’s gallery.
Western art in Georgia, specifically Cartersville? Booth Museum was started by a family who call Cartersville home and have been Western art collectors for many years. It was their wish to share their art with the community, particularly young people who might not otherwise be exposed to art. The Museum was named for Sam Booth, a good friend and mentor to the founders of the Museum. Booth Western Art Museum is operated under the umbrella of Georgia Museums, Inc., which also includes Tellus Science Museum, Bartow History Museum and, coming soon, Savoy Automobile Museum.
Since opening, more than 3/4 million people have visited the Booth. As the buzz surrounding the Booth continues to grow, so does the Museum’s accolades, including being named the 2016 Escape to the Southeast Travel Attraction of the Year by the Southeast Tourism Society, 2016 Reader’s Choice “Best Western Museum” in America by True West Magazine, listed among “The South’s Best Museums” by Southern Living, top 10 ranking in “30 Must-See Art Museums In The U.S.” by thecareerartproject.com, and one of “5 U.S. Art Museums to Add to Your Bucket List” by thedailyquirk.com.
The Booth’s permanent collection covers more than a dozen galleries, showcasing legendary artists such as Frederic Remington and Charles Russell to contemporary masters Howard Terpning and Andy Warhol. Unique to the Booth, the Millar Presidential Gallery displays a portrait and original hand-signed letter from each U.S. President, George Washington through Donald Trump. Supplementing the permanent collection are several temporary galleries, hosting 10 to 12 exhibitions per year.
In addition to “Seeing America’s Story” in our galleries, visitors can experience American heritage through several annual events, plus lectures, programing, and exhibition openings. Each February the For the Love of Art Gala Weekend features live and silent art auctions generating funds needed to help support the Museum’s mission. Every March the Southeastern Cowboy Gathering features traditional Cowboy food, music and poetry. October brings the Southeastern Cowboy Festival & Symposium with Native American dancing, gun fight reenactments, art history lectures, a Western marketplace and much more. The museum also welcomes visiting artists and scholars to speak at twice monthly lectures and exhibition openings throughout the year.
