Not too much still flowering in the garden at the moment but this periwinkle struggles on. HBW!

This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Very Peri - Pantone's Color of the Year for 2022. It is one of those colors that works well in the background or in the shadows as it symbiotically brings out the beauty in other colors and other colors bring out the beauty in it. By itself, Very Peri is a calming color yet it has a slight bit of electricity in the right light. Who knows how 2022 will play out and I'm happy Pantone created Very Peri to take us forward.

The winner of our last One Color Challenge (The Color Sapphire) was brillianthues. For our new challenge, she has chosen the color VERY PERI, a beautiful shade of Periwinkle - which is Pantone's Color Of The Year for 2022! As stated on their website "Very Peri is a warm and friendly blue hue whose presence encourages personal inventiveness and creativity." The main PS Hex Color Code for this color is # 6768AB

The Church is in the village Nant Peris, North Wales.

It is a Grade 11, listed building.

The east window was a gift from John Christophert Lloyd Williams in 1926 and was designed by W.Aikman.

This is the lower reservoir of dinorwic hydro electric,and Eryri mountains scenery in the background.

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales, at an elevation of 1,085 metres above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands. It is located in Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd, and has been described as - probably the busiest mountain in Britain. It is designated as a national nature reserve for its rare flora and fauna.

Llyn Peris is a lake in Snowdonia, Wales, approximately 1.8 km long and situated close to the villages of Llanberis and Nant Peris.

Im quite excited to start posting photos I managed to take whilst on a recent family holiday to Wales! It was a very wet ️️️ week and this will be very much reflected inmy shots! The heaviest downpours always seemed to coincide with the times I got some free time to go out and shoot… but I enjoy the challenge of just dealing with whatever conditions im thrown. I seen this scene after we visited the National Slate Museum… waiting at traffic lights I just seen this scene so had to park the car and run back and grab it hand held! Thankfully ive a more than understanding family! 😂😂
