A little village, perched on a hillside is preparing itself for a long winter. It holds everything which a perfectly quiet life needs, intimate houses, a small church, a little cemetery down of the road, plowed fields, the time of the day is close to sunset the colors are warm, and the air is full of the autumnal smells. This is my gift to the hamlet called Restegassi, close to my home, in Italy.
Due to the amount of awards and comments, I can't thank everyone individually, so I'm doing it here.

During her show days she won titles in three federations and now at 14 years old is still looking great...

I like the idea of the paradox ... That a deeply luminous being seeks to darken as vice versa. The search for change, for the mask that we show to the world when ultimately we are totally different, whether darker or brighter. The idea is to transcribe this research. What do you think?

I have always loved the Wood Anemone, and I now grow them in my garden, after many years of trying to get them established. For me, they are the epitome of purity and represent a delicate spirituality. This image has been waiting in my archive for a while, for when it could truly show its beauty. That time is today.

Still trying for that "perfect" black and white flower shot, whatever that might be. This one isn't it, but close.
Standing at the window, early Monday morning, tea in hand, she stood gazing out.. It was raining, not the heavy big drops kind of rain, it was that very fine stuff that seems to soak you more.. Her mind wandered back over the weekend she had spent with Karl.. She stood there smiling, it had been a couple of days of getting to know each other. just enjoying the company of the other, chatting about anything and everything. They had similar taste in music, except Karl did like some heavy metal, which took her by surprise..
She laughed when he told her.
"Nobodies perfect" she said laughing too..
"Never said I was" he leaned over and began to tickle Eve's feet, she was squirming around in fits of giggles, trying to stop him and find his ticklish spot too......
"No one is perfect" She wasn't looking for perfection in a man.
She wasn't looking for a perfect relationship, she knew it did not exist, you have to work at a relationship, talk to each other, work through problems TOGETHER.
She waited her entire life to find somebody she could sit with in silence, feeling wanted, appreciated and adored, now it was finally happening, she knew damn well, why it was worth the wait...

Witnessing something as beautiful as this is very close to perfection here on Earth. Yet, it is not entirely perfect as we still live in a broken country and a hurting world corrupted by the evil of sinful desires. Moments like these, even though short, give us pointers towards a coming perfect reality. A day when every wrong ever done will be made right. A day when all of the evil that corrupts this world will be no more. A day when literal perfection will never come to an end. How I long for the day of His glorious return!
