When summer comes, go out, find a field with poppies, lie down, look at the sky and start dreaming......
During her show days she won titles in three federations and now at 14 years old is still looking great...

Lesser kudu are forest antelopes found in East Africa. The females and juveniles have a reddish-brown coat, while the males become yellowish grey or darker after the age of 2 years. Males have a prominent black crest of hair on the neck. One long white stripe runs along the back, with 11-14 white stripes branching towards the sides. A black stripe runs from each eye to the nose and a white one from each eye to the center of the dark face. There is also a chevron between the eyes. The area around the lips is white, the throat has white patches, and two white spots appear on each side of the lower jaw. The underparts are completely white, while the slender legs are tawny and have black and white patches. Horns are present only on males and are dark brown and tipped with white in color
this place is so peaceful at night....the setting sun with all the colors makes for a gorgeous sunset

Sunday we had company and after diner went to the garden for few minutes all the flowers in the Pond started to close,
Bullseye remained open just little longer for us.
Nature is always giving us gifts to be treasured. This is the kind of gift that keeps on giving each time we see it. Subtle, soft and delicate. I try to search for what stirs my visual appetite for beauty. Music moves me much in the same manner as photography does. Thanks for viewing my work. Gratitude and Kindness give daily. This robin was about to enjoy a puddle in our driveway, but hadn't disrupted the perfect reflection yet.

I have always loved the Wood Anemone, and I now grow them in my garden, after many years of trying to get them established. For me, they are the epitome of purity and represent a delicate spirituality. This image has been waiting in my archive for a while, for when it could truly show its beauty. That time is today.

Still trying for that "perfect" black and white flower shot, whatever that might be. This one isn't it, but close.
Wonderful day at the Park today to be taking some of the pictures I wanted to take of my daughter. Luckily the weather and location helped.

The red background is the flower's petal. I planted this flower myself but I forgot the name when I bought the seed last Spring. Today, I saw more flowers blooming and they are very beautiful.
A female beautiful demoiselle - one of the most beautiful dragonflies I know. There are less of them compared to the last years. Hopefully this will change again...
