The Chester Roberts Park is very small and it can only accommodate a few vehicles in its parking lot, Nevertheless, it affords a beautiful view of the Peace River. The park is situated along the shoreline in Port Charlotte, Florida, next to the bridge carrying Hwy. 41 traffic between Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda.

Para nosotros el punto mas grato del recorrido que acostumbramos realizar por este magnífico arenal del oeste de Cantabria.
Una brecha en la roca, que se cierra cuando sube la marea, permite contemplar la combinación perfecta entre rocas, arena, cielo y mar.
Esa tarde agosteña la mar rompía con cierta fuerza y la marea estaba subiendo. Muy dificil sortear ese estrecho paso y acceder al extremo nordeste de Gerra. Otro dia será.

I just happened to look up and several feet above me, I noticed that a dried bougainvillea blossom had dropped onto the leaf. I thought it was was quite pretty so I decided to take an image of it.
