Who doiesn´t love colorful pencil to make the day even brighter.
I´m glad to see so many "old-fashioned" materials used for this theme, especially since at least here in Sweden everything is electronic in schools nowadays !

Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Looking close on Friday is Pencil Sharpener. And this is a first one as well, after the self levitating book, we have a flying Pencil Sharpener. I hope you will like it my friends !
Just for your information: the decluttering process is in the same state it was yesterday… My hopes are high that today is THE MASSIVE (and super fast) DECLUTTERING DAY. Don’t say anything : just let me dream !

Looking Close on Friday - Week 4 Eraser
Had to hunt the house for an eraser and luckily there was one on the end of this pencil.
The cast-off from blue, orange and yellow coloured pencils after being sharpened. They look nice, but there's no other place for them than the bin.

The ends of these coloured pencils are shaped like hexagons.

Image created with a pencil set placed on a tv screen put flat on the floor. Used a blank white screen as a canvass. Edited in Lightroom - cropped and aligned, adjustments to shadows, highlights, clarity, sharpness and luminance. A radial filter and vignetting was applied to the negative space.

Experimenting with watercolor pencils was initially challenging. Then everything seemed to come together. Perseverance is the key.
These little pencils are amazing, each one as unique as the little stick its made of giving it a great texture, especially on the carved tip which has a raw cut feeling for grip.
Like a fish in water.
Doesn't it look like he has a blow hole, there are bubbles coming out of it !
