The teddy bear is likely an offering by a modern ghost hunter or some other visitor moved by the idea that children as young as newborns were kept here for reasons as meaningless as showing signs of Down Syndrome or being born to a mother who was a patient here.
Today's assignment for these student nurses is all about making balloon animals to entertain the child patients. Photo taken at a medical campus in Rome, Italy.

A pediatric dentist could use this brochure to help kids and parents understand the importance of developing good oral hygiene habits at a young age. The hand drawn pattern paired with the image of young children conveys the image of a professional whose job is rooted in the health of children. There is also abundant space within the brochure for descriptive text regarding brushing, care, and office hours.

Patience explains “When I became pregnant with Josphat I took a routine HIV test and found out I was positive. I enrolled in the PMTCT (Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission) programme but I kept my status a secret.
"A PMTCT counsellor introduced me to a support group of other HIV- positive mothers who helped me to understand my illness. I realised I wasn’t alone and that my baby didn’t have to be born HIV-positive. I have since been blessed with an HIV free son."
