This is how I found Sethi on the porch this morning. He noticed me but didn't move, in fact he didn't even open an eye. A few minutes later Tofu came out onto the porch and started to nudge Sethi with his paw. That finally provoked a reaction. :)
Some of his paw pads are black, but these four are all pink - and very cute.

I was going for "toe beans" which is what I remembered the Happy Caturday theme as being. I was wrong - it's "paws" which is great since the toe beans are out of focus. Actually, the only thing in focus is Mack's face but at least I didn't have to resort to an old photo of Jimmy.

Kangaroo paw (Anigozanthos) is a genus of 11 species and multiple subspecies of flowering plants that are native to Australia. These plants have long, slender, arching leaves similar to the foliage of daylilies or amaryllis plants. The unusual tubular flowers grow on stalks in fan-like rows and are covered in velvety fuzz, giving them the appearance of a Kangaroo's paw. The blooms come in an array of shades, including red, orange, yellow, and purple.
I love Kangaroo paw plants because they grow fairly quickly and don’t require much maintenance.
Shot for the group “Looking Close… on Friday!” and the theme ‘Flower Buds’. Looking back, I selected the same flower for another “Looking Close on Friday” theme (Low-key) back in 2019: “Kangaroo Paws at Night”
A quick snapshot of Filou taken when he relaxed on the porch this afternoon. Sometimes he looks at his paw and seems to be amazed how perfect it is (and how clean) ! :)
Relaxing on my settee with my cat Ebony perched above me, I was captured by the way she had crossed her paws, one over the other. I managed to take this shot before she moved. I loved the way the sunlight was catching the higher paw and the hairs so delicate and soft. Close up like this you can see the relationship to her bigger family members. I love sharing my life with this beautiful creature.
Our little Honeysuckle had to have exploratory surgery on her paw yesterday. She had a cyst on her foot, but she is recovering well! Seen here, snoozing on the afghan my grandmother crocheted me when I went off to college! Honeysuckle can have her bandage off in 48 hours, but she is doing fine!
Kangaroo paws at my sister-in-law's. Robyn's garden is small, but full of interesting little treasures.

Kangaroo paw is the common name for a number of species, in two genera of the family Haemodoraceae, that are endemic to the south-west of Western Australia. These rhizomatous perennial plants are noted for their unique bird-attracting flowers. The tubular flowers are coated with dense hairs and open at the apex with six claw-like structures, and it is from this paw-like formation that the common name kangaroo paw is derived. The plant is native to south-western Australia. The plants have found their way to California and become popular among garden supply businesses there. 26326
There are many cute things about the Dragon and one part that is underrespresented on my photostream are his paws, so I thought I should take a photo of them when he sat on a shelf and showed them so nicely. :)
As you’ve probably guessed, I love everything about Bella so it was difficult to choose for this theme. Her paws, partly because each of my previous cats had pink pads, so Bella’s are completely different. Also, the way she curls her paws around while sleeping is so sweet, & reminds me that Daisy often did the same. Happy Caturday.
