It is very difficult to photograph yourself knitting under the best circumstances which weren't prevailing at the time.

There are not many shots i take and i feel proud. This is one of my top 10 from the pictures that i have taken so far. Maybe in top 5.
I received a lovely Japanese pattern book from a sweet friend over Christmas, and this is the first pattern I"ve used from the book. The grey fabric is from a linen thrifted skirt, and the print fabric is a long-hoarded stash fabric. The photo doesn't clearly show, but there are on-seam pockets where the grey and printed fabric meet (kind've like the O & S Book Report dress). Size 120 for my recently-turned 7 yr old.
The textures and patterns of these mushrooms are extremely inspiring to me. These spore prints made this past summer are informing some sculpture pieces that I am working on with felt.

Huisal ist a bavarian word for cartridge. I created that pattern when I had a call and than with coffee and honeybread.

Thanks to Kellie (74LimeLane) I realized that I had patterns right here around the house! This plate alone has 3 different patterns on it. I figured one of them had to be photogenic.
