My passionate dawn of love and glory. Love for nature, the gentle flowing waters and the landscape. The glory of capturing the magical moments of dawn. Knowing that it all fades so quickly. This photo was taken five minutes following "Dreamscape" and the palette of hues shifted much warmer.

I must apologise about my lack of activity on Flickr. I am still passionate about photography but struggle to find the time take photos, process them and keep in touch with all my friends on Flickr as well as living a busy life out side of Flickr.

Water has always been a constant in our dynamics. Our very first collaboration told a story of a mermaid trying to pull a man with her into the water. Now that very man dived head first to meet her again, except this time she swimmed up to him to breathe oxygen into his lungs. Or maybe he was the one who did breathe into her. Probably a bit of both, but most of all an excuse to kiss each others lips as the encounter was more about feelings and attraction than to pull the other into their respective world. Simply meeting halfway with the anticipation of tasting one another. They say no water nor earth can come between the inevitable...

For my 100 Flowers Project - 2021
I was surprised to see this bloom today. I haven't seen it in this spot before. The first time I have photographed a Passion Flower although I must have seen them when I was a kid, around ten years old as my Dad had a Passion Fruit Vine for a year or two.

I haven't done one of my more artistic waterlily shots in some time, so I figured I was due. This one came out a little more intense than I really wanted it to, but it's okay. The colors are still pretty. Hope you like it!
Passion flowers thrive in full sun, need well-drained soil, and require something to climb on, like a trellis or fence. ......
I write this with a heavy heart. The last couple of years have found me with a progressively debilitating spinal column and joint problems. If it were just me, I would never ask, but I have 2 young daughters that look to me for support, so I have to swallow my pride...

Long stamens and tiny flowers so intricate, each one not more than a few millimeters across.
Seen on the way to the pond in our local park. The tree never bears fruit, it's so small, like a big bush.
Anyway, here we are - painted as always with the help of Topaz Studio, PicMonkey and Picasa. I like all these methods of doing my photos as they've all got features not found on the others. A bonus I got Topaz to work on this fast but old laptop. Anyway, I hope you like it. I think Spring might just be coming along !!
