*Sigh* I usually nut-up when I see a squirrel on one of the bird feeders, but this is a brand new nutlog and sometimes I hope a woodpecker will show up first to "get things started," which seems to help out the little birds.
BUT, this party goer was doing a great job of gnawing down the top edges so I let him enjoy his treat, knowing how thankful the little birdies would be once they showed up.

I am posting this photograph now that both of these houses have been burned by a still unknown arsonist. The Party Animal House burned this morning. The Penny House burned in November. At this point, The Heidelberg Project has lost almost all of its house installations to arson.

Three Sulphur Crested Cockatoos, party animals and bad boys one and all. Also social media stars with the tracking project: The Wing-tagged cockatoos (@ www.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/Science/The-Wingtags-Project/Birds ) which lists more than 140 individually named & tagged birds (including Party Boy, Uncle Arthur & Dancin' Jen).

Key points include that their "normal diet consists of berries, seeds, nuts and roots. Wee hours of the morning on the Montreal Plateau, party animals (pure speculation on my part) roam the streets for yet another celebration, or maybe just try to recall in which direction is home.

The giant rhino is being readied for something...I think it's probably the upcoming Petaluma Rivertown Revival festival the weekend after next. It shoots fire out the horn, and it's back opens up and it fills with humans, becoming a giant party animal. Right now it's grazing in front of my other favorite humongous art thingy...the huge Burning Man Medusa, who has been getting reassembled for the past several months and again I'm assuming it's for the Rivertown Revival.
Op woensdag 29 juni reed de festivaltrein van Oostende naar Leuven, met 'partyanimals' en DJ Sem Thomasson.
De samenstelling van deze trein zei dat we deze trein moesten fotograferen. De 2719, samen met negen M4 rijtuigen en het Bar-resto rijtuig SR3, brachtten de festivalgangers naar Leuven.
Ik en Jonas kozen ervoor om de trein in Heiste te gaan fotograferen, tussen Landegem en Drongen.
