I was standing in front of traffic lights when I took this photo. I was suprised every single traffic lights to all the way long to Arc de Triomphe fulled by photographers with their tripod! Well, I wasn't the only one taking seriously night shot at that time ;-)

I stil not happy for the result caused didn't get enough stars from the lights. I tried for longer exposure but seem didn't work. Stil struggle using my own camera! ;-)

Honest positive critics & advise for better shot. Please anyone....really appreciated ;-)

Photographing the Eiffel Tower was one of the high points of my time in France recently. More to come.

Well, think I'm gonna take another mental journey. When ever I get a little stir crazy and dream of far off places, for some reason, I mentally head to Paris. Its a great place to home base a European trip. City of lights.....a magical place. This week, I think I'm gonna post a few images that are from a 2007 trip that I reprocessed a little bit.

Enjoy!

Paris’ Arc de Triomphe at night 🇫🇷

Pont Louis Philippe seen from Pont Marie a block from our home of two weeks in Paris. We fell in love with this extraordinary City of Light and certainly tried to see all the sights, but I think we left about a million behind for the next visit.

As a couple of you know, I'm also a fool for Rufus Wainwright and love his song Tower of Learning.

At night, all cats are grey.

How could you not be blinded by all the luxury on the place Vendôme in Paris? Luxurious hotels, doormen, jewelry, haute-couture boutiques, bentleys, maseratis, etc. But does all that glitter make people happier?

"Sunset Over Switzerland" - Here's a shot that I took in Gimmelwald, a small village in the Bernese Oberland located in the Swiss mountains. After hiking all day, I decided to do one more hike to catch the sunset! I took the last gondola up the mountain and hiked through two towns to this small village. When I arrived, I got completely immersed in the scenery while trying to capture the vanishing light. Once the sun finally set, I realized that I had to head back down in the dark. I'd soon find out that this wasn't the wisest decision I've ever made. The switchback trails through the trees were fairly steep and it took me 5 hours to get back down in the dark...probably one of the most painful hikes I have ever done.. which I'm sure is laughable to the locals!
