i decided i needed to upload some older photos. here's a batch of my parents, Skip and Lois, doing various things.
It was quite dark and raining hard when I found this young shieldbug running around on an old park bench, probably having been blown out of the overhead birch tree.These tiny creatures were happy to crawl onto my warm finger and be photographed but on the bench they kept moving.
my brother sent me this great picture of our parents. (with both my brother and mother on flickr, I don't know why they didn't flickr this first. ) *shrug*

Parents lost almost every tree in their yard. This was a stand of 8 +35 foot trees ripped up at the roots. Luckily none of them hit the house!

Ugh, I can't help but to miss Pullips so much :(
Too bad I'm absolutely broke, and my parents are the best at understanding my love for them and all the crap I need to buy :P
But its been like a year since Leah broke, and I got her out the other day, and fell in love with her all over again. Shes just so pretty! I have enough money to buy her an obitsu, but my parents are just so weird about it... but I love Pullips, and I want Leah to be photographable again, and I want her to have friends!
It also sucks cuz I have to save over $600 for a florida trip, so its going to take a while for me to be able to save for these cuties :( Plus I don't have a job, so its not like I ever get money anyways.
But I just want them all so bad! I find myself so obsessed xD Like I even went and found wigs&eye chips that I would love each of these girls to have if I ever wanted to really customize them. & I found out how much it would cost me (about $1,300 :P)
But anyways, my wishlist has changed a little. I dropped a few girls (who I still love, but they're not on the top of my list) And added two more that are pre-orders, since I kind of liked them :D
Oh! Also i'm so sad cuz I missed Leah's birthday (like three months ago :O) And I wanted to wish her a happy birthday :) Even though it wasn't the best year :(
Well anyways, hopefully someday my Pullip family will be how I dream it :D
