Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart - William Wordsworth

Some paper typog I just made for an advertising gig. Those curving letterforms are a total challenge frankly. Luckily 'tangible' was on the design brief.

An advert that has just hit the streets of the city.

The client had already created a paper style for the other elements of the campaign, so i was asked to complete this in the print element.

This was a collaboration with the two art directors who created the setup and I added elements as needed.

I was one of eight paper creatives from around the world invited to submit an initial design for the Second SKIN mask contest just launched by Arjowiggins Creative Papers, based in France.

This is what I came up with.

Photographed by my talented friend Bowen Arico www.bowenarico.com and sported by Mitch.

As requested by you guys, here is the rest of the 'A4' project I just completed for a typographic exhibition at Object Gallery here in Sydney.

Thanks to Justine from www.uponafold.com.au for letting me use her snap.

Wings for Hermès.

A trio of smaller pop-up books i created for an exhibition in 2007.

Having always wanted a Victorian insect collection, I started my own.

The legs on this pop-up are dynamic and move when the book is opened.

It is not easy to fold it without diagrams, following the short instruction (nevertheless it belongs to the series of simple birds), but if you have enough experience...

You could find it here:

I designed this ornaments for a Christmas display, and then used them for gift wrapping. I also designed and made the boxes. I used scrap-booking paper for this project.

Diseñe estos adornos para un arreglo de Navidad, pero luego los usé como adronos para regalos. Los papeles de las cajas y los adornos están coordinados.

The video tutorial is at my new website www.paperOrnaments.net. You can also design and print your own ornament.

Don't know what to call this. This is a prototype. I still want to fix the opening in the center of the flowers. I think the opening is too large, I will like it to be a little tighter.

This one is about 7 inches in diameter. More paper forms at www.carlosNmolina.com
