Trying out the reverse lens macro photography.
Set up:
Canon 18-55mm 3.5-5.6/f on camera. Fixed at 55mm and focus on infinity.
In front of that, holding my Canon 50mm 1.8/f reversed.
Photo then cropped. There is some vignetting visible but I like it :P
If I had a lens at 100mm range the results would have been better.

I used to use pencil and pen & ink in sketchbooks before my children were born.
When they began crawling around I could only create gesture drawings so I switched to a camera to capture them.
I still pick up a pencil or use ink once in a while but not like I used to.
This week's Macro Monday theme is 'stripes.'
Magnified paper plate fibers.

044 - Thanks for holding that for me Wall-E. I just received my Canon 135mm f/2 L today and couldn't be happier with the results. There was a mild bit of sharpening in Lightroom (notice the paper fibers around the tear), but still... yay! I can't wait to seriously try this sweet lens out.
