Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and we have Mr. Teddy Bear with us to celebrate Happy Teddy bear Tuesdays. And the theme at Crazy Tuesday is Folded or Creased Paper.
This is a perfect day for Mr. Teddy Bear to daydream about sailing on his blue paper boat. Mr. Teddy Bear has a passion for sailing and a passion for boats. So that is why he has so many paper boats ! Once he starts to fold the paper he can’t stop and he has to make several boats of the same color. And then he makes one extra just in case ! That is why Mr. Teddy Bear has more and more paper boats in his house. He can hardly wait to be able to take his boats outside and go on a romantic get away with Princess… Spring is definitely here so it will not be long until sailing is enjoyable again !
Meanwhile, I have to « sail » in a general direction of my living room office !See you later my friends !! And have a beautiful day !
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!

A few young guys were playing around (taking photos / video clips) with these paper boats in the breakwater of the East Cost Park Precinct.
This photo let me remember of the old Cantonese song 《紙船》 [Paper Boat], released in 1982, by the famous Hong Kong Cantopop singer / songwriter / actor Sam Hui ( 許冠傑).

[Paper Boat]
Composed/lyrics by Sam Hui (1982).
Lyrics (an unofficial English translation from internet, not singable):
Walking pass the seaside, ( I ) see a small boat
Remind me of that person, thousands of miles away, make me feel sad inside
(Image of) her who is in foreign land rush into my mind
How to make our hearts connect
Pick up a piece of paper and fold a little boat
Gently lay it down on the water
Clear my mind, close my eyes and make a wish
(Watching) the little (paper) boat quickly floats afar
I hope the (paper) boat could fulfill this wish of mine
Tirelessly travel long way away
Straight to her side
Only hope to see her once
if she finally see a paper boat
Drifting in circle endlessly in her dream
Hope she could cherish the meaning of it
Together, let's make our hearts connect

For Macro Mondays theme : Paper
foil between two sheets of pink tissue paper rolled up and illuminated
For the Macro Mondays theme"Begins with the Letter P": Pre-creasing paper for folding.
When you fold with vellum, the creases becomes white lines. The vellum gets actually damaged and the risk it might tear is very big, so it is necessary to fold with great care.
HMM for everyone ;-)
This twirl is about 3 cm long. Paper cut from a magazine and rolled around a knitting needle to make the twirl.

The narcissus is the December birth flower and symbolizes good wishes, faithfulness and respect. The narcissus can often be confused with the daffodil, the birth flower for March, which is a type of narcissus. Although most narcissus flowers are spring flowers, there are several species that bloom in the winter, such as the paperwhite narcissus — making it appropriate as the birth flower for December.
The December birthday flower has a rich history. As a native of the Mediterranean, the narcissus was brought over to Asia where it became widely cultivated in China. From there, the narcissus made its way into Europe via European colonists and eventually made its way into North America. Today, the narcissus is mainly cultivated in Great Britain, Holland, and The Channel Isles.

Looking Close on Friday theme: made of paper
Thank you for your kind comments and favs. All are greatly appreciated. HLCoF
This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was paper. This one looks like it's sailing into the unknown! HMMM!
For Macro Mondays.
I attempted some marbling of paint on paper this weekend, but wasn't very successful, so have resorted to the unimaginative paper coil.
For Macro Mondays and Pick Two.
This week's Macro Mondays theme is to pick two, one from each list.
The colours:
Red
Blue
Yellow
Pink
The items:
Flower
Bottle Cap
Paper
Pen
...and combine them in a macro photo. This is a thin, cellophane-like, translucent paper that made folding difficult for me. All one hue, but the lights make it look like many.
About 4cm /1.5 inches across.
My husband prefers this one. He isn't keen on abstract or bokeh balls.
Thanks for looking.
