Desiccated slices of orange in what can only be described as Miss Haversham’s pantry.
The mouse isn’t real 😆
A year round staple in my pantry is cranberry sauce; made with fresh berries (in season soon!), grated ginger, orange juice, cinnamon and half the recommended amount of sugar.
This tangy sauce compliments poultry like none other. :-)

The light comes in from far enough south that shadows hit our pantry closet doors.
Looks odd enough for Sliders Sunday?
I saw a "pantry" during wanderings in the woods. Thank you for your nice comments. Have a nice weekend.
Photos from the newest shoot I styled. (It's me.) The photo itself is copyright Laura Kicey. Please do not lift it without her permission. I've just uploaded my favorites from the bunch here.
Nearly everything is thrifted. The styling was influenced by the Chloe Sevingy for Opening Ceremony Collection and Luella S/S 08.

Anne's house has been nicely restored and you can get a good feel for how the family grew up. This is a photo of the pantry on the lower level of the home.

A very typical detail of Korean culture can be found in the residential courtyard, which has a special area for glazed clay jars (onggi). This area, which traditionally belonged to every old Korean house, is called Jangdokdae, which could be translated as a storage platform. This is an open-air pantry. It contains various fermentation pots in which food is fermented, similar to our traditional method of making sauerkraut in a clay pot.

Instead of showing you all the yarn I don't have (my stash is seriously meager), I prefer the "this is what I have to show for myself at the end of a summer" kind of flashing.
Added a floor and the top shelf. Then I started painting it all an ivory color, which is taking forever. Whose idea was this anyway? Oh....mine, lol.
My "country" pantry door. With an old riding notice attached.
